Took me a while to finish this set off. Stealers are done using Kantor Blue highlighting up to Shadow Grey (or whatever the new version is now!). The purple is Demonette Purple, Purple wash, then dry brushed Demonette, Warlock Grey, and finally Slanesh Grey. The claws are my old Naggoroth Night Purple then mixed with white for highlights. Terminators are Mepheston Red, Brown wash, then Mepheston, Evil Sun, and 2 lots of progressively lighter Orange for the highlights. All have been given x2 coats of Tamiya Matt Flat Varnish. Finally, the Sneaker Claws, Terminator sensors, Teardrops, eyes have all been gloss varnished.

All in all the models for this version of Space Hulk are nice. Some are missing things, like x4 Sneakers are missing an arm which has been lost in the casting process, but you can't really have perfection with plastic moulds. Most of the Crux Terminator symbols are missing the details se this needs to be hand painted on rather than relying on a wash to bring out the detail.

All now stored in a Battlefoam tray that slots inside the SpaceHulk box. Which actually I quite like, although I had to modify some of the models to make them fit properly. A couple of the sneakers I had to heat over a candle and bend their arms slightly. I also need a foam topper as Battlefoam didn't supply one which did surprise me somewhat.

Comments always welcome.........

Not a huge Nids fan, but I'll be damned if those Blood Angels don't look GREAT! I love those models, if only I could bring myself to play Blood Angels hahaha.

I love the job you did with the Nids! Awesome. I wish I could get my hands on a copy and give it a go myself.

Those are beautiful! I have yet to even prime mine after years of them languishing built in a plastic bag... You put me to shame in a very good way. Nice work.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Looks great, too true about the paints. Went in to a hobbie store today and the guy there and I spent the better part of half an hour trying to figure out the names of four paints. Any ways, the models look great, shame about the casting, thats always a bummer.

Gorgeous. I really like the highlighting work on the BA, especially; great job not going too orange.

Lovely! I've painted up a total of 2 Space Hulk sets, so I know full well what a great feeling it is to see all of the models finished and ready to roll. The paintjobs you've achieved here are really lovely.
