Looking swish there mate, if you can be fuq'd try green stuffing ur plaguers. I've seen brilliant conversions where people made intestines, pus, rust, rot and all forms of other foul decorations that made them look super badass.
But goddamn would they take a lot of time and money to do ....

Looking great, you might try making the metal look rusted, either dry brushing an orange/brown or washing with an orange/brown would work. They look amazing for your first Plague Marines. And as was already said, welcome to Chaos! I'm sure Papa Nurgle would be pleased to add that Plague Marine to his host!

Cheers for the comments. I'm going to get another 7 when these 7 are done and use the forgeworld upgrade kit on as they're a lot more plague'd up and rotted etc

It does look great. The base tone and patina is excellent.

For my money it doesn't look quite "finished", though. If you paint the eyes another color, and paint the hoses and cabled bits (in the backpack, arm and elbow joints) a metallic color (either silver/iron, or a rusty bronze), I think that would add an great element of contrast and additional detail and really finish it off. The eyes are harder and less important than the cabling.

I agree that you should paint the tubes and cables and stuff in metal colours.

I'm no authority what so ever, but here's what I'd do.

Red circles: "Silver" metal, that you used on the shoulder pads and weapons.
Blue circles: Bronze/brass.

Plus the skull on his arm could be bone coloured. That's pretty Nurgly.

Thanks guys, I prefer the look of everything being the green colour as in my mind why would the armour all be rusted etc but nothing else. However, I must agree that I need to add some metal. I think I'm just going to go for the tubes on the sides of the backpack and the ones on feet (I actually meant to do the feet ones but forgot and got carried away by nurgle haha)

One thing I did that looks good mate is painting holes in the armor. If you youtube "girl painter plague marine" it show you how to do it on there. Also a little bit of rust on the guns.

But overall looking tight!

We are nothing but a plague in the universe

I've seen people use water effects too to add a sort of snotty or pus like effect to their models
