Hey guys, making an apocalypse list, 5000 points, for this summer. As you will be able to tell it's more fluffy then competitive. This means that I will take all of your feed back but I won't nescessarilly put it into action. Just depends how much it fits with the army. Any way's I'll see what you guy's think. Note that I am going to email the guys who are running the game and see if I can go for 7000 points. I was really looking forward to fielding 9 basilisks and 10 leman russ's!

I would cut the Stubers from everything. Reasoning is if your firing subers at things there already to close for the feels goods
and the Ogryns there good in CC but There trash outher than thet IMO so I would replace them with Vandetta Air support as well as posibly a Storm troopers to kill MEQ leadership or beat back an objective

All of them? I mean, that's a lot of str 5 shots! I was already considering doing it on leman russes and basilisks as it's a bit pointless. But the fact is that on the super heavy's it can target some near by foot sloggers, taking out a marine or two. That would be 60 points if I did that. Also, for the two hyrdas. My question was, do they get bonus's to flyers since they are pintle mounted. I know that that's the case IRL but couldn't remember if it works like that in 40k. If not then I will drop those for a total of 80 points. How about for the chimera's? They would be used for close support any way's. I think that those extra three shots would really help. What do you think? Any thing else I could drop? Storm troopers would be nice. Although it would probably get shot down very quickly by AA fire due to the fact that its the only flier in my army in something around 100,000 point apoc game...

all I can say is that I envy you, that list is gorgeous. But i must ask why the melta in the infantry squads? are you planning on running them forward? otherwise its a bit pointless, id say plasme or autocannons or heavy bolters would be a better choice for guardsmen. Especially seeing as guard get torn to shreds if they have to come within 12 inches of an enemy, honestly you have eneough fire power to just let them come to you man

It is a lot of Str 5 but if there are boys in your lines at that point for the Super's to shoot at you have done a very wrong thing. And IIRC pindle does not do anything for AA its a gun trait. maby try and invest in more bassies then if you dont want drop guys. more shots down range never hurts
