The Inquisitor will hide in the Stormraven. The Grey Knights will advance to Psycannon range and then shoot - fall back - shoot, until its time to asault. The RazorPsybacks will make excellent cover for both troops and Battlesuits. The Sunfire Crisis Battlesuits will start out like the Deathrain or Fireknife patterns and utilize long range to pop any transports. Then they will close to melta range like a Helios pattern and blast away with melta and rapid fire plasma. Four Helioses (Heli?) make a powerful punch on 2+ and 3+ armor. (This give versatility and utility all in one pattern.) The Rail guns will focus on AV 13 and 14 (if present), and then will focus on any anti-Flyer threats, and then targets of opportunity, and they have the mobility to stay with the back ranks of the Grey Knight foot-sloggers, for a modicum of counter-assault protection.
The army as a whole, has the option of sitting back and letting the enemy come to them (whilst using long range weaponry to thin the attackers). Or march to midfield and dominate through aggressive application of focus fire.
Some background fluff:
Spoiler:
Inquisitor Vrath
Inquisitor Vrath was charged with reconnaissance of a growing Tau sept in an outlying region of Tau space. As it turns out, this outlying Tau sept was founded on a world where the system's star experienced huge electro-magnetic disturbances. The effect of these disturbances would cause the star to go dark for long periods of time. Intermittently dark, this Tau planet lent itself to practical applications of stealth. And Vrath noticed that the Tau military presence heavily utilized stealth tactics.
The Inquisitor was ordered to monitor the passage of a Tyranid Hive Fleet which was passing close to the Shadow Star Tau sept world, and if at all possible, to surreptitiously goad the Tyranids into attacking the Tau. Vrath used a psychic beacon to draw the Tyranids to the Shadow Star system. A great battle ensued and the Tau emerged decidedly victorious.
Admiring the tenacity and battle prowess of the Tau, and having observed that this Tau sept was very rebellious towards the control of the Tau Etherials, Vrath stepped forward from the shadows and forged an alliance with the Shadow Star sept. His ultimate goal is two pronged. "To know your enemy, you must become your enemy." He wants to understand the Tau better, and he can use this sept's rebellious nature to destroy other Tau septs and weaken the Tau as a whole.
Commander Shas'el Hidden Sword
While Commander Shas'el Hidden Sword agrees with the ideals of the Greater Good, Hidden Sword considers himself a warrior philosopher, and as such, finds that he does not fit into Tau society as the Etherials define it.
When the presented with the opportunity to ally with Inquisitor Vrath made itself available, he guardedly accepted the chance to observe from a different perspective, the machinations of other alien races. However, he realizes that Inquisitor Vrath's true intentions have not yet been revealed, so he finds himself in a somewhat dangerous position of pushing just how far he can advance his own skills and understanding before he finds out what Vrath may really be plotting. However tenuous this relationship though, Hidden Sword keeps some back-up tactics always on the back of his mind, and believes that he can strategically out-maneuver Vrath, should he need to.
Its an alliance of mutual goals and hidden aspirations, cloaked in misdirection and long term stratagems.
I would drop the missile pods altogether, as GK psycannons are much better except for the shorter range. Let the tau focus on the melta/plasma, what the GK really lack. Not really sold on the sunfire patter being that effective, I think helios would serve you better across the board. If you drop the missile pod from the 'el, drop the blacksun filter as well.
Could use a target array on your 'el, maybe on the crisis team leader too. Target lock on the team leader is meh, just have the 'el split fire.
I hate to see an inquisitor without a single upgrade. Power armor is a steal for any type of inquiz, so is the psyker level 1 upgrade to get divination for twin linked shooting(This would also fit fluff wise with your inquiz using a psychic beacon to summon the bugs) Gives him something to do besides hide in the plane all game.
The order malleus with termi armor, psycannon and psychic level 1 is a great build, but a xenos with just psychic level one 1 is viable and fits your fluff better.
The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
Shine bright like Iyanden
Personally, what I think makes the GK army so scary is that you have very cost effective units and you combine them with very cost effective force multipliers. Inquisitors are one such example. for 110 points you can get a 2+ save, A relentless Psycannon, and re-roll to hit then the shooting as assault phase for your entire unit. It is well worth considering dropping a razorback or two to get.
If you want a xeno inquisitor, you could go for the Psyker upgrade and maybe the Poison Pistol (Poison + AP2 is good and fluff wise it works for fighting Tyranids as well)
I really like the fluff for your Inquisitor, so I think he should have equally awesome rules to go with it, rather then just hiding somewhere in reserves.

I tweaked things a bit in the Crisis Suit department. I dropped the Missile Pods and reconfigured into two 3-suit squads, and then upgraded the Inquisitor into a Psyker.
Grey Knights Primary Detachment (1386 points) HQ - Inquisitor (named "Vrath") (Psyker (Level 1), Power Armor) - 63 Troops - 10x Strike Squad (2x Psycannon) + Razorback (Psybolt Ammo, Searchlight) - 271 Troops - 10x Strike Squad (2x Psycannon) + Razorback (Psybolt Ammo, Searchlight) - 271 Troops - 10x Strike Squad (2x Psycannon) - 220 Troops - 10x Strike Squad (2x Psycannon) - 220 Fast Attack - Stormraven Gunship (MM in front, AssCan on top) - 205 Heavy Support - Dreadnought (Twin TL-AC, Psybolt Ammo, Searchlight) - 136
