So for a Christmas present to myself I bought an Iwata hp-cs and so far loving it. I find it hard to get the dilutions right, but I'm slowly getting it figured out. And I figured since it was a first for me I'll try something new at the same time, so I did a little research on oil paint weathering. I learned a few things right off the bat. Don't forget a varnish before using the oil paint! I got a little overzealous and jumped into it forgeting that step. But over all I'm happy with how it's turning out. Anyways tell me what you think or any suggestions on how to do things better

I think it looks fantastic. Very subtle, but really gives it a great look! Look foward to seeing the finished product!

Try adding in some rusty tones as well. The leeching minerals that form the dark water lines usually have some rust with them. Or try adding in some weathering powders. When you mix weathering powders and oil weathering together you get some awesome results. granted Im an ork player so I like everything rusty and dirty.
