Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

I have recently begun work painting up my Blood Angels force. They started as a detachment for my IG force, and I will slowly add to them to round out their own army list.
For my Sanguinary Guard for instead of the traditional gold armor I went for white. As my IG troops fluffwise have been stationed in deserts, I followed the same basing for my BA as they have come as support. I figured the white armor may be a bit harder to keep clean on a desert world, hence the dirtier look.

Your wings look great, and the metallics on the weapons look really nice! However, I think that in the future you might want to thin down your paints when you are applying white to such large areas. On the larger fields of your models, your white looks a little thick and toneless. It's a really easy mistake to make, and I almost hate to mention it, since I can't do it very well myself. I think that perhaps a wash or two might help draw some shadowy paint into the recesses and give a little more definition to the model. On the other hand, it's entirely possible that what I'm seeing is nothing more than a trick of the light and the camera, in which case feel free to ignore me completely.
