Very cool so far, I like the muted tones and the orange/blue contrast. It's not always easy to pull that off. One constructive criticism for you, the skin in the first picture could use a bit more depth.. Maybe a light wash? Looks like it's coming along nicely though.
One thing you need to be aware of is that if you undercoat with white and miss a spot it really destroys the overrall look of the miniature. Either undercoat with a darker color (like black) or be sure that you cover every single white spot.
Yeah im redoing the skink again coz of the white bits as i started to rush it towards the end of painting so im gona take it nice and slow and when ive got a load more done ill post them up and if ya can look at the gallery and rate even if its a low rate please do thanks

Almost finished the skink cheif already looks ten times better in my eye none of the white basecoat is showing unlike the pic at the top also gona make the white highlights thiner as well will put a pic up soon
Looks alot better, I would probably use some more wash over the skin to make the muscles stand out more. I'd recommend a 50/50 mif of water and agrax earthshade or seraphim spehia depending what tone you want.
Also go for a base that contrasts to the skin, I think a jungle base with lucious green stuff would go well with the skin tone.
