Found this tile at Lowes. I need to figure out what to do for walls. Either mod what I was working on before or something new.

Also want to find another source for the tile too, it has a nice variety of textures but at $10/square foot...would like to find a cheapo/discount/damaged/overstock source if I want to actually make a dungeon out of it.

Yes, very nice dungeon floor catch. I wonder the gaps between stones.....makes me think of a traps floor, wrong square and something bad happens!

Probably paint it dark-mid grey with some me highlights.

keep an eye on the clearance areas and sales - I see those there sometimes. Might inquire from the shop folk as well if they know of any that'd be useful for you.

Is it flexible as in its a way for a tiler to get lots of little tiles on the wall easily and then they grout it up after? If that is the case then tile suppliers could be a potentially cheaper source (or if you knew a tiler....)

It looks good, but yeah $10 a square foot is a bit much.

I was thinking the near white stones are safe passage, the dark gray are some sort of wall or ceiling trap triggers, and the brown ones are trapdoor style surprises, either some monster pops out, or the unfortunate dungeon crawler finds themselves in a bad situation down below, GM's choice of trap.

Not only check clearance shelf, but ask the employees if they have any damaged ones. As a former manager from Lowes, Home Depot and builders square I can tell you that those tiles along with the matching subway sized ones get damaged often enough and we always would set them aside or on a damaged shelf for a greatly reduced price. The lowes I was at last always had plenty of broken larger tiles and we were constantly calling art teachers at the community colleges and crafters we knew to try and get them to come buy the broken ones. Lowes (and I'm sure Home Depot) also gets a flavor of the month tile the same size as those, only skinnier, which are about half to a third of the price. I've got a kitchen backsplash that I put up made of those. I even got them cheaper since I waited two months and they went clearance.

Watching the mail like a hawk has paid off. Thanks so much for the mold Cam, I'm gonna have to source some dental plaster now so I can take full advantage of it. Watch a care and keeping of silicone molds YouTube too or something. Figure out something I can compensate you with Cam, I greatly appreciate the walls.

Not got a lot of painting done, been working on a little dungeon crawl to possibly bring along to local game day thing even though there's a fair chance I won't get to use it. However even dnd inspires painting and modeling and I'll be doing some eventually.

Looks great. Should be a great way of knocking out some walls.

I'm excited to try them. Gonna order some dental plaster soon. I've still got that casting kit I got from hobby lobby months (years?) ago, if the components haven't expired I may have a go at making my own mold. May pick a wall section or two from that one and do a multiple copy mold for mass production at some point.

Also got some sculpey clay to mess around with. May be able to use it to work out my own wall sections, I'm not gonna be happy until I can get it to work myself, even if I do have four excellent molds already.

May look into some sculpting with the clay just for fun anyway, it's a bit cheaper than greenstuff and maybe I can make some useful interior bits for my battlezones buildings and cast them at some point.

May also try to make a few gribbly critters, the dungeon I would like to run has grey oozes and slime mephits (little imp-like elementals), I was thinking to make them out of hot glue but the clay may make for a base.. dunno yet. May do greenstuff too or just straight hotglue. Or nothing, time is short

I'll probably be updating a little more often when December hits and landscaping dries up. Been unseasonably warm so we've been working normal hours longer into the year than usual.

Worked on my hobby/game room a bit, trying to organize my spaces so I can actually work on stuff when the time is available.

I can sympathise about getting more work in. But I try not to complain as the alternative has far worse connetations.

Oh my god those tiles are brilliant. I think we even have a few left over from some renovation, I'll have to take a look at that.

Shas- going with warlock. Had a sinister look. She got lost in the tunnels when she was younger and would have died but she made a literal deal with a devil to gain the strength to save herself. Shortly after she got back, she shaved her beard and exiled herself not wanting to dishonor her clan with her choice. Her clan gifted her the armor in return for break honoring them and because they still had to protect their own. Now she adventures, testing her new power and dealing with the consequences of her Faustian bargain.

Anvil, I'm not sure what got me looking at them but I'm glad I did, now I just need to source some cheap specimens.

Made some paper walls in a rush this morning. Thoughts? Floor needs weathering it's just been freshly sprayed .

Yeah it's mat/paperboard. Spray glued regular printer paper to the board and cut to shape.

I hope to play dnd some day. Otherwise will be dungeon photo shoots.
