Thanks for making a positive comment. Glad someone likes it. I will admit I hoped for more feedback from people. My photography skills (especially lighting) leaves a bit to be desired so hints would be much appreciated and I can show this guy in a bettert light!.. as I think my photos dont do him justice. Also anyone have any tips for destroyer squad load outs? Im thinking 2 missile launchers in a rhino... how would you equip the sarge? Melta bombs or not?

Looks actually pretty good. Did you handpaint the shouldersymbol? It looks awesome. One thing however bugs me. Werent the WE white with blue shoulder pads?
Or is this a unit for which you have made up a special paintscheme?

You see The Observer, the World Eaters brethren of the infamous Destroyer squads had a tarnished silver armour, with the Legion badge in a blood red, they somtimes had red handprints on their helmets (but then again, that was a Legion-wide custom too).

Absolutely stunning marine mate. Could you share with us how you got the silver the way you did?

The Rout, Vlka Fenryka, Warrior Kings of Fenris.... the Space Wolves. Horus Heresy. Sixth Great Company. 1500pts. In progress.

Axe to bare, land paved with dead,
Strode the Jaw, teeth bared in snarl,
Glimmering maw, death in hand."

The symbol is from the Forgeworld World Eater decal sheet so i sadly cannot take credit for that.

The armour was achieved with Leadbelcher drybrushed over black primer followed by a heavy wash with Badab black, this is when the decals are added as you want them to look weathered and scratched too. I then with a small piece of blister pack foam and a pair of tweezers add the scratches and worn metal appearance by dabbing Mithril silver on the edges of armour and in obvious spots that would pick up the most damage. I will post images later of a legion veteran that will be in the more traditional white and blue colours of the legion.

Thanks again for your comments.
