Hey dakka! This is my first P&M thread, and it's basically to keep me motivated to paint my army and so i can receive C&C from all the wonderful hobbyists out there. I just got into this hobby about a month ago, so it's all still very new to me. Any help or information you may have for me about my painting is greatly appreciated! I am mainly in the hobby for the modeling aspect of it, but i'll eventually try the game itself. Because of this, I model most of my figures by the 'rule of cool', rather than whats playable.

I have a ton on my table to work on, ranging from Space Wolves to some Dark Angels that sorely need my attention. SW are going to be my primary focus here, however.

Hey dakka! Small update here. I got a littlework done on some minis from the DV box, so here they are! Hopefully i'll get some more SW done by tonight.

Hey Dakka, I haven't posted in about a week because I haven't found much time to work on the hobby. But I recently got some greenstuff, an this is my very first attempt with it. If anyone has tips on how to use GS, it would be much appreciated.

Hey Patman! Things look pretty good here. I would reccomend some washes on those space wolves. It well definately be to your benefit! I really like your Dark Angels!

Cool, I think my faves are the WIP on the TH chapter master and the DW termie sgt. The cultist is a fun conversion, too

@eldertau; are there any specific washes you suggest i use that won't dull the armor too much?

Alright, so I worked on the tabbards, and did a little touch up on one of the guys. Still lots to do. LMK what you think!

try using a light agrax earthshade to fill in the cracks. Also are your priming these guys? That would definitely get you a smoother coat.

Are you watering down your paint? looks a bit clumpy.

@SJM; I painted these guys a few months ago when I had just gotten into the hobby, so believe it or not, I knew even less about what to do. I have since begin to water down my paints.

Wow! I haven't posted in forever, and that's just not ok!

So, I've begun to check out warhammer fantasy and I started with the beastmen. I have to say, I really like these models. I haven't painted anything quite like them yet so I'm still figuring out what works. Take a look and let me know what you think (:

Hey Dakka, I'm finally back after a long hiatus during the summer! As before, Space Wolves are one of my main armies, but I have also started Dark Eldar. I love the models because of the edge highlighting opportunities that they provide; something I haven't tried a lot of. I feel like my painting skills are definitely improving so take a look at some of my early models, and tell me what you think!

I got a small supply drop in the mail today.. A DE Raider and some Scourges. I'll get some more pics up tonight of some current WIP's!

Ok.. so I got another kabalite done, and I tried a paint scheme on the wings of a scourge... Let me know what you think. Also, if you have any good paint schemes for wings, send 'em my way!

So... I have a suitably awesome leader for my Space Wolves now!
