Hi!
As the anciant topic disapeared in the warp, I am sending this new one to talk about FIGONE releases and few other news

- The timetable for Figostages is full until this summer. I have no more free slots so if you want to arrange one for the second half of the year, please contact me before it is too late Those dates which are already scheduled can be found on the home page of my site at www.jeremiebt.com.

- 23 & 24 February, The Lyon expo/competition Lugdunum takes place. We’ve got into the habit of organizing a big LUGDU-FEST house party where everyone is invited. So if you want to come and celebrate, bring as much food and drink as you need for the evening. Remember to bring your best feather duvet and your floor mat with the fewest holes if you want to sleep over. If you want to come on Friday, let me know in advance (no need for Saturday, I will give directions on how to get there at the show).

- Regarding shipping of FIGONE orders. A premature rupture of stock and a misplaced package mean that orders placed in December / January for Origen figures will be sent on January 28.

- The second installment of the DVD that covers freehand and wet blending is being finalized. Subtitles in 5 languages are nearing completion, the videos are edited and spliced, and the graphics are underway ...We hope to release it at the Lugdunum show at end of February.

- Do you know the webzine FanFig?

http://www.atorgael.com/fanfig/
The next opus is in production, so if you want to embellish the "readers’ gallery" with your own work, contact me privately.

- Finally, FIGONE still growing along with its catalog.
I’ve sculpted and painted the little "Lefago Warrior" for the range while the addition of the Spanish Scale 75 catalogue enriches the site with 14 beautiful, new references.

-Very soon, the full ALKEMY catalog will be available in individual resin miniatures, and goodies such as lights, brushes and sculpting tools will make their way into the catalog.

- Since I’m far away from home on my winter getaways, the next shipment will be January 28, February 7, February 22 and March 4.

- I still hope to update my website with my paintings from the last 6 months soon. Be patient ...

According to the French tradition, we still have a few days left for well wishing, so voila, I wish each and everyone of you individually and collectively, my best wishes and especially warm hands to warm up your cold buttocks this winter.

That's pretty darn impressive. The base is a lot of fun, but I'm really attracted to the green metal color. It looks great.

Your painting is superb. Are you scratch building your back drops on the two female models, or are those scenery you can buy? Amazing blending you're doing as well. I particularly like the varied skin tones on the minotaur. Great stuff. Cheers.

Wow that medusa is frightning. She looks like a Greek amazon spartan.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Yes I scratched the miniature. You can see it on www.figone.fr, also the resin cast for the base

Hello, miniatures addicts,
We're working at quite a blistering pace at Figone!
I just finished to upload a new teaser about the brand new DVD coming out soon. This should get you to crave for watching it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo4pWAx7kf4
Since I need to give an advance for the production this week, for then having shipping in February, note that pre-orders have already started. This really helps us not having to go into some crazy Indigogo or Quickstarter extensions.
www.figone.fr
I finally updated my personal website with two versions of a Minotaur, on which I use the wet-blending technique I'm describing in the DVD.

The catalog of Figone's accessories gets bigger with the addition of light bulbs, brushes, sculpting stick tools, various glues, silicon shapers/ brushers and gluing speed-ups.

Since the production of the DVD is quite expensive, I added a list of miniatures I'm selling, including the two minotaurs I'm talking about above.

More news are coming some time in Februray.
All right, need to go, I have a horsie and a lad with bells waiting for me on my desk. This will all be revealed in April
Miniaturely yours,
Jeremie

Figone have a new miniature in his range !

The company gets bigger, with a “strider” sculpted by Ivan Santario De La Uz. A beautiful 54mm model that comes to enlarge the rank of the community

Other view of the unpainted model here:

http://www.figone.fr/rodeur/

For the large scale lover, the scale 75 line acquires an “operator 79”, and we take the opportunity to enter 4 historical references to our line: a “crusader”, “Leonidas”, a “Great Master”, as well as an “Executioner”.

A set of paints for NMM and a very useful bag of artificial snow (I was looking for a good one for such a long time) also take their place in the growing catalogue, always and forever.

Vincent, which I thank so much for his help, developed a system of “reader gallery”. You will find here the first published picture: http://www.figone.fr/peintres/

If you wish that your interpretation of one of the models of our lines shows in this gallery: send us the pictures!

Who paint’that?

At the bottom of the page (http://www.figone.fr/peintres/) there are pictures of models that got pictured at the corner of meeting or exchanged during a seminar. Or maybe they just appeared by magic in one of our servers? At any rate the name of the painters are sadly lost. If you recognize your work or one of your friends, do not hesitate to let us know. Thank you in advance!

The Aurillac training is full, but there is still some spots for Nice in June and Berlin in July.

The next expedition will take place the week after March 23rd. Then, a month break, because I will be abroad for a series of figostage.

It is few days now I sent a batch of envelop of DVD and the first feedbacks start to show over the internet:

Last news, the webzine Fanfig is ready, and will have the luxury to have a figoletter of its own when it will launch online.

Finally, if I show nothing personal (or not that much) it is because I spent a month on a new big boy, and I will need at least that much longer before being done

Figurinely yours,

Hi there, miniaturenauts!
A quick and fast bit of news to let you know of two new entries in the Figone catalog.

Origen Miniature has just added a new pearl by Pedro Fernandez Ramos: an extremely elegant and subtle scuplt of a vampire, Dacso, as only he has the secret of sculpting.

Scale 75, after the success of their NMM - silver set, enlarges their line with a set for NMM - gold.

You can find both of these new releases on the http://www.figone.fr/en/ website, while waiting for the next batch of releases which are in the pipeline.

New pictures have been added in the reader gallery : http://www.figone.fr/peintres/

Absolutely gorgeous. The sculpts are superb and your painting techniques are unique and compliment them wonderfully. I particularly like your eye for detail and your use of colour. Not at all like some of the clone looking paintjobs so many of these miniatures have. Its unique in a superb way. Please post more of this glorious eye candy.

Hello everybody,
I spent around 200 hours on this mini, i am happy you like it

First of all, we would like to apologise for the difficulties with our last newsletter but it was out of our hands. We think that we have solved the problem (thanks to David) and we’ll find out soon enough with this mailing

This month there are no less than 25 new additions to the FIGONE catalogue.

While there is space in the stock room (garage) and as long as people keep sculpting such magnificent figures I will keep adding these beauties to the shop.

We start with the FIGONE range, with Christian Hardy’s sublime oriental princess called Lharm Shéod.

Three other satiric miniatures join the catalogue.

From now until the end of summer, we will be unveiling three more figures which have formed between his talented fingers. In the meantime, Allan Carrasco has had a go at a hippopotamus while Raul Latorre has been playing around with a potbellied knight.

You’ll just have to wait and see...

Mantis Miniatures is now part of our catalogue with 14 animal kits! At first I was getting them just for myself then I thought that others would like them too so I’ve stocked up from this Polish producer.

Christian Hardy (yes, him again) has completed two pieces for Wonderlands Project. I’ve taken the opportunity to take on part of their catalogue so there are 5 new figures available from FIGONE.

The FanFig webzine (www.atorgael.com/fanfig) is looking for contributors! So, if you feel you have the soul of figurine artist supplemented with a little writer’s flair, get in touch.
The next shipping dates will be 2 and 14 of may.

(Current shipping dates can always be found on the FIGONE website)

Soon we will be announcing another new arrival... Black Forest Miniature, currently being moulded with care.

So, you think you know how to paint? If you do, come and share - http://www.figone.fr/peintres/

Finally, the FIGONE website is seeking someone with Wordpress experience to help out in exchange for fresh resin...

All this news and more is at www.figone.fr

Figurinistically yours,
JerM’s

Hello mininauts !

The two new FIGONE releases are now revealed!

It's, firstly, Nathaliel, elfin dragon prince.

This model, exquisitely sculpted by Christian Hardy, has multiple options: a large banner, a helmet, a shield, a sword... which you can combine in any way you want!

A number of assembled examples are on the site.

After Aahl, it's Haan who joins the ranks of the “humanimals” sculpted by Allan Carrasco.
Using the first two, will you be able to guess the name of the next two?

And then, we're proud to have a small exclusive: the FIRST model made by Greek sculptor Michael Kontraros. This “deluxe” line is offering a real gem, delivered in a metal box, with artwork, a base, and a tamed dragon on it...

http://www.figone.fr/elf-dragon-prince/

Finally, Antoniooh and Chismah are adding a nice Joker and friendly robots in the Skull Minis line.

http://www.figone.fr/category/skulls/

Concerning the news, three greens are being molded for FIGONE.
We'll let you dream about what they look like by revealing only their names.

The Gladiataur, Bill Tcherno, the Sapo Captain, and Trollus Lunae Bellicus.

An Indigogo campaign is in the works, for a large beast (a very large one), based on artwork by Bertrand Benoit and sculpted by Allan Carrasco.

Finally, the next shipping dates will be on September 18th and 27th, upon my return from the Berlin masterclass.

If you want to know how the packages and envelopes are shipped from Figone... which also explains why I don't head to the post office every day, but every two weeks instead:

Soon...

Good painting to all!

Hello everybody,
Following the last newsletter, after reading some comments on the internet and some suggestions via email, we have decided to make the elf Nathaliel available in a version without banner for €15. The version with banner remains at €25.
How on earth didn’t we think of that ourselves? Well, thanks to you it’s done.
So don’t hesitate to send us your ideas and suggestions. One of the good things about being alone at the wheel is that I only have myself to convince in order to alter course (although it’s not always plain sailing).
So, a few more touches to Trollus and Gladiataure at this weekend’s figostage in Berlin then I can make a start on Captain Sapo ...

I – Give Rocco a banner
II – Gladiataur
III – Misc

Hi Pacific.
Yes the death jester won first price at Cristal brush

Gone are the summer fesitvities which have kept us away from the heart of the cities, we're finally ready to restart our fall danse of releases for the heart, and of links for the head!
I – Give Rocco a banner

You've made the tracker explode overnight, and unlocked the two objectives three days later...
Which means that from now on, all those who pitch in will get, in addition to Rocco, two 32mm miniatures which will be sculpted for the same price: 75 Euros!

That's how it works on Indiegogo. When the objectives are met, presents are offered!

The two models: Toxic Helmut and Carmina will be sculpted by Christian Hardy and Stéphane Camosseto:

We can't do anything but thank you and offer a new stretch goal to be unlocked at 8,500 Euros: Rocco's banner.
How far will we get? All bets are in!

In the meantime, here are some WIP shots from Allan's studio:

II – Gladiataur

And it's not because the Rocco campaign is firing on all cylinders that the "normal" Figone calendar ought to be reduced. Which is why I'm introducing the new arrival in the catalog...
GLADIATAUR!
Sculpted by Allan Carrasco and Christan Hardy

With thanks to Yannick for the wonderful text that comes with it:

« -"" - Grrrrr

III – Misc

Also, I've got a small thing to ask you:
As you can see, we've improved the look of the newsletter. Could you add this e-mail adress, with which I write you, in your contact lists so that the email filters don't wind up sucking what I send out to you?
Thanks

Finally, I'm looking for a webmaster who would have a few hours free, and who knows or would like to learn how to bootstrap simple things on Wordpress. In exchange for the help, I'll be sending a small package of FIGONE models...

Buhbye, looking forward to catching up with you about the fabulous saga of "Rocco on Indiegogo",

JerMs
