Hey guys

So i have finally finished my first combat squad of marines. Been a very long time coming too. Its actually my 1st finished paint job in around 15yrs......took a very long break from hobbying. But here we are some 15yrs later and trying to get back in the saddle. The only thing to do is now give the fellas decals. This is alot easier said than done, but if been doing my research and am now waiting on some Micro-sol solution to come in the post so i can do the water transfers.

The paint scheme is abit lighter than most other crimson fist minatures iv seen around but i saw an amazing crimson fist diarama from the orginal rouge trader book and instantly thought thats the kind of thing im going for. Anyways here they are for all to see. Its been a very long time but im happy with them, its just the pics didnt come out to great which doesnt really do them any real justice but i think their clear enough to give you some sense of were im going with them. Any and all C&C welcome as how am i gonna get better with out other peoples input

They look good with the paler colour scheme, and I like how there's a minimal palette, the red's a good spot colour for the blue too, not too bold. It's a good contrast, not an in your face splash of colour.
So yeah, I like them, hope to see more.

Thanks mr Buca. Id like to do some edge higlights but so far all attempts have been massive fails. Although i have had some success with very very subtle dry brushing on the edges of certain areas which in the correct light stand out fairly well. I should looking into photography next really. Thanks for ur cooments, with luck there will be more uploads over the next few weeks!!!
