I thought I'd share my pre-Heresy Imperial Fists. They're all Anvil Industry products (even the bases); I think Anvil's stuff is great quality and the result you get is well worth the effort (which is minimal!).

I intend on doing a small IF army, including some Chapterhouse Studios jetbikes. The cartoon makes me chuckle.

Thank you for posting this! This has definitely sold me on the Anvil stuff. They look amazing! And those helmets I was actually not a fan of, until now, seeing your painted versions.

I have to admit that anvil really does do good work. Its nice to see someone who has some of their own. They look great.

I really like that plasma gun, and the backpacks give me an idea for a flame-thrower conversion.

I really really like these. That plasma gun is awesome. Makes me want to do a squad of pre heresy minis myself. You may have just nudged me a little closer into irrevocable debt. Curse thee.

Hehe, sorry! I'm having to pace myself with these otherwise I too would have woes. I think I'll do the jetbikes next month and try and find a Basilisk (as per list in Betrayal) or do a Boarding party the month after.

Now, that sounds like a cool idea. Throw in a couple of odd vehicles here and there and that would be an awesome army.

Those do look great. I've been looking for pics of painted samples. Glad someone finally delivered with some great ones! Which head is that you used though? And are all of the legs from the running set?

That's some nice looking marines,and Anvil Industry sure seems to have some interesting parts but the thing that gets me is that are the rifle arms that they sell just right handed or can you use them to make you marines hold their guns in either the left or right hand.

Great looking miniatures! quick question regarding these anvil industry models, would a GW space marine backpack fit on them?

I have a bunch of parts for the Anvil Steam Knights, enough to build 10 of them, except for arms & weapons.

I was going to use them as tac marines, but I may be going Tau, and wont need them...
