I havent painted in around 10 years and decided that i wanted to get back into it. Had a look at lots of models and like the look of the Dreadknight.
It was completed last year and i've somehow lost the WIP photos i took. These are what i took after i'd completed it Feb 2012

let me know what you think.

Silver is too bright, give it a thick nuln oil wash then itll look much better!

The painting is really neat, though I agree with above poster, the metals could use some shading (washes?)

Solid paint job, a wash would go far!

The brightness is probably caused in part due to the flash. But yeah, definitely put a wash on it so that it'll give it some nice looking shadows and highlights.

From GW I like using nuln oil wash for the silver and recesses. Seraphim Sephia (brown) for over the gold and paper items.

I tried using the old n newer washes n shades from GW to give it the blue tinge but just couldn't get it to look right. It's very shiny mainly cuz of the flash but I wanted it to look clean as it was my first attempt at painting in over ten years.

Thanx for the comments n I'll give it a wash see how I like it.
