I'm doing this Runepriest as a character for a buddy of mine that plays a weekly game of Deathwatch. It's my first crack at a Runepriest and I'm looking for some C&C. As you can see, the base and backpack aren't done yet, I wanted to do a snow base, as befits a spacewolf, but all of the other characters in his game are based with more of a forest style (and I know this because I did them all) What do you guys think? Is a forest base not spacewolfy? Should I use snow stuff even though all the other characters in the Deathwatch game aren't?

General C&C also welcome

Thanks! I didn't purchase the model so it was important to me that I do a decent job of it. Almost all of my regular space marines are painted as Black Templars, so my friends sometimes give me a hard time about only being able to paint black.

The priest is looking great as other have said.

On the basing issue I would check to see if your friend would want consistency. I would probably go with the same basing as others but as long as it looks cool who cares.

EDIT: I don't think it would be weird for a space wolf to be in a forest area as they travel to many different planets not just snowy areas.
