The first four pictures are of my first dark eldar model

Whilst the last four are of my girlfriends first ever model!

Comments and criticism appreciated especially in the first one.

PS. Apologies for the cluttered background and fingers I am aware that this is less than ideal for seeing the model

I like it. Plain and simple. I would just add drybrush over the ground to give it depth.

Yeah, I agree with the Drybrush but I'm not sure what colour, any suggestions?

Glad I picked necrons, DE look tough to paint!

A lighter brown would be simple yet effective. Then add small bits of cork or small pebbles. Even cracked corn looks good after painting

Yeah SJM - They are, I'd been painting Nurgle daemons before that and those models were so much more forgiving, that one Wyche took me aaggeeess!!

About the base I think I'll try flayed one flesh (edge paint) for the Drybrush. Then I have some tinylflat stones I will put in the base. Then I think I will add one of those DE spears with head on from another kit and paint it with blood running down it and onto the base.
