hey everyone, right first off im new to this whole forum thing but i thought it was about time i got on here and started a thread so i could get feedback and ideas for my current project.

Ive been toying with the idea of a Dark Eldar army for a while now, and i finally found some time over christmas to make a start. I have yet to finalise a full army list and will post one as soon as i decide how i want the army to play. As ive always been more of a painted and modeller i couldn't wait to get started, so far i have 9 reavers done, hellions and my baron conversion.

I took direct influence from the pic of the baron in the army book and after numerous failed tries at converting him i ended up sculpting most of the figure.

Ive got a load of sculpted bases underway which as soon as ive finished the last couple ill post some more pics.

anyway im looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.

Amazing baron, best I've ever seen. The dynamism is great, and really suit his fluff.

Look forward to more!

Thank you, I actually sculpted most of this figure. The legs, hellglave and board are from the hellion set, everything else was sculpted from scratch. Capes are actually really easy to sculpt, perhaps i should do a tutorial on here.

Cheers guys for the great feedback, i really love the fluff on the baron and couldn't wait to make my own.

Hey, Sorry for the delay in posting on the progress of the project, work and family life kinda got in the way......

But it's finished!!

I will post close ups of the full thing over the weekend, but to keep you going for now I'll give you a sneaky peek of some of the scenery I made and the board that goes with the army, as displayed at Games Day 2013.....
