A model I made for a contest. This is my first time making painting anything not a nid to comments/criticism welcome. The design ended up very different then I originally planned due to a loss of parts but I think for the most part it came out well.





















I'm also sorry for the quality of the pictures, this is the best camera I have access to on campus

The axe handle seems excessively long, but it could just be the angle of the photos. Same goes for the infantry on the base, the axe (or pole-axe I guess) is at least 2x his height, which would be just awkward and cumbersome to swing in combat.

Also, the tyranid's spine seems a little too clean to have just been ripped from its body.
