Bough 5 female marines from meowmeow marines and used leftover dark Templar arms for them.
Oh some heads are from anvilindustries.
I think of painting them dark purple and make the Maltese cross red or yellow.

I like the look. I also have been thinking of starting a female marine army.
What will you run them as?

Added the base colors still not sure what secondary color will be.

They look like females in power armour, not female space marines.

This is a great idea (I'm making one for my daughter, soon), and I think those are some decent heads. I do have some reservation at having breast contour in the exterior armour, though. Look at most female athletes of high calibre and you'll notice a marked reduction in fatty breast tissue. Add in some fluff of genehancement and they'd likely be further reduced. Interior padding inside of the armour would be more than enough to comfortable cushion the chest, so they could likely use the same armour as their male counterparts.

"Issue" is a rather hard and confrontational word to use.
By posting on this forum I assumed you were looking for comments on your work. You simply cannot expect every person on this forum to be 100% impressed with your efforts.

I would expect female space marines to follow the proportions of a male space marine, ie "square" looking head, barrel-like torso (to hold the extra organs) and certainly no wasp-waist.
Hence my comment on them looking more like slick Sisters of Battle than female space marines.

In short, this is what I think a female space marine looks like;

These are miniatures from meow meow not my work, and the whole idea is that you can see they are female. If i would go for the "realistic" look , it would not be visually interesting.

PS Issue hardly a confrontational word, should I've said, is that a problem? i myself are not 100% impressed with my work.

I always appreciate comments, i don't mind that they are not accurate, there should not even be females in space marine armour

Can you link us to where you bought these from?

And as a side note, I think that you may run into more Sisters of Battle confusion, especially with the crusader iconography on them. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your minis, just trying to give a friendly heads-up.

I can understand the SOB confusion, i had a ton of unused black/dark Templar arms and shoulder pads, time to use them.

I think the only thing that really stands out, to me, is the lack of IoM iconography all over their armor. A few aquila decals would go a long way.

I like them.

Maybe i'll add some iconography, not sure yet
