Hi guys been painting this all week and tried to incorporate many of the tips and hints others left in some other threads that i started. Now this is far from finished, and please note i wanted in to look beaten up and smashed to f**k. So although i have a long way to go and its got about another weeks worth of work to do (tidy ups, highlights , base etc) but compared to my last effort on the ultramarine terminator ( see other pics in my gallery) i think i have made a step forward. Just wondered what you guys think and what can i do to improve in general and on this model. I have 3 dreadnoughts to paint the idea being to practice some techniques like battle damage and shading on this and the Ironclad and then do a real attempt at a step up in class on the venerable. Any feedback would be amazing. Cheers . Dreadful tom.
I have put a picture of the dreadnought and the terminator to people to judge

I would drill out the barrels on all the guns, it always makes models look better. The termie could use some shading on his face, and I think all the blue could use a good wash. Looks pretty good so far!

^seconded.
If you shaded the recesses of the dread more, and shaded the termies face a bit, they would look splendid

I would say to paint the side of the terminator's base a dark color to contrast the basing and to clean up it's look. I would just try black, but a dark brown may work as well. Othewise, aggree with earlier posts.
Good work so far!
