A while back I converted a batch of EM4 Mechs and finally got around to taking some pics. The stock mechs are nice enough, but there's alot of potential for conversion, even when only using bits from the kits themselves. For 7 mechs and a description of each conversion see the full blog post here:

Excellent idea, rotating the torsos. That looks surprisingly natural. Have you altered the backs at all, especially of the top (medium) one, as his cockpit is quite distinct?

I completely removed the cockpit on the medium/large mechs where I turned the torso. In the blog post you can see what it looks like from the rear. I haven't decided yet whether to leave it as is, or glue a couple greelbes on there. I'l probably put something random bit from EM4 mechs or chopped up MWDA mechs there.
