Note, the K on Konfederacy etc is deliberate. Also, this is a way to incorporate my Mantic Enforcers into my IG/Inquisition forces so please relax and enjoy

The night was a perfect one for the mission, storm clouds, rough weather, visibility low. The pilots of the aircraft from their cruiser were flying with instruments and servitor assistance, the place that they headed to was kept so well secret from the populace on Janak VI that nothing, not even large sensor arrays were used to give the place away. But some were not pleased with what they had seen on their world, in their lands, so they had for a price, sold the location and what they had seen to the one agency that the Khadrovian Konfederacy could rely on to help keep it safe from such threats. The pilots of the three drop craft did not even have a way to see what was in the passenger sections as these had been modified to avoid "problems" that exposure to their passengers may have caused normal men. In the cabins, under the red lights, their armor shone almost a dark purple or gore color, their eye slots on the helmets or the sensors units actually glowed green in the dark. In the middle craft, as the vessel shook about the Commander checked his weapons, Wrist vibro blade was ready, his massive dual pistol(it was big enough to be a rifle in a normal man's hands, his displays systems for the vitals of the thirty men armed and ready, their vitals each flashed through. He then rechecked his orders. Dispassionately he viewed the information. S.C.H.M.E.R.T.Z. Inspector General Romanov had asked for such a team as his to deal with a situation that would have made most men quail. A group of the Governor of the Janak system had authorized a joint project study with Tau emissary group to see what they could do with such people as Psykers, yes, untrained and hence dangerous Psykers, to work on ways to help them attain a form of deep warp transit, something that apparently had failed elsewhere a few years ago further out inside the Galaxy on a obscure world. such a dangerous experiment could not be allowed on Janak VI as the consequence would be bad for more than just the researchers and xenos,

Inspector General Romanov had ordered that the mission be a fully ice level sanction. The Commander re-read that and made sure that it was now in the info-web of all suits of his teams, Tactical 1 and Tactical 2 were well armed with 2 heavy guns and their main rifles while the sergeants had vibro-blades and pistols. Assault 1 were all as the tactical sergeants with a supporting heat weapon called a Promethium salter. Heavy 1 sergeant as all of them, two of the heavy cannons and two missile launchers with varied select warheads. If wounded, they would be teleported back to the cruiser, if captured or killed, questioning would be impossible when the power pack flash fried the corpse inside the armor as well as the circuitry within. As the servos were tested via flexing, the teams and the Commander in his more massive Overlord Armor prepared to go, harnesses unstrapped, the doors opened down at the rear of the "Hind" assault craft. As one they got up, so well trained that orders were not needed for this part. they each jumped out of the craft and soon their fall was broken by jump jets built into their powered armor. they glided themselves in the sheeting rains to an area half a kilometer from the base, unseen and undetected by any sentries or short range detectors, the suits built in stealth ability worked. The temperature was shown by his readouts as 20celsius, as Janak VI was a warm almost tropical world by Khadrovian standards,it's people were used to the pleasures of almost year round beach going in little garb where cover was required.

Janak VI, main economy was focused on such tourism that allowed visitors a chance to relax, sun, soak, play. It also was a source of juices, fruits, and animal meat and skins as well as some mineral wealth, but was a jewel in the crown of the Janak system under Governor Cornelio Clementius Leto IV, latest of along line of Governors who had inherited the title, and who was known for being amongst the latest group of systems opposed to the Konfederacy economically and militarily. But worst of all, the one thing that could not slide, toying with Psykers in such a fashion with Xenos scientists who had no clue how dangerous they could be. This was why He and his men were sent to deal with it. The one requirement one needed for the S.C.H.M.E.R.T.Z. of the Khadrovian Konfederation to enlist or draft you into this secret service, the gene that made one difficult for others to be around you, but made it far worse for psykers and warp spawned horrors, the null or blank gene. All of these men were horrifying to Psykers as they had a black hole where their souls should be in the warp. The Commander and these men were what were referred to by the secret services as "Null Knights", Warriors with bionics, gene grafts, and other enhancements to make them the perfect solution to certain problems. That and they were not as visible as Space Marines for they never left witnesses when possible, and then their stealth ability left impressions of phantom killers, any captured armor leaving questions instead of giving answers. This was a force loyal only to the S.C.H.M.E.R.T.Z. and the Politburo High Tier.

The research facility also was near a small town apparently as supplies needed, and distraction for the guards and workers at least the Human ones that is, maybe curious Tau as well. The teams crept in to the area, security fence, gate, one way in or out. Heat signatures showed a total of four guards on duty, with a command, he sent the assault team move in, as Heavy and tacticals waited, weapons aimed. As one, the Vibro blade armed committed the deed as the flame thrower watched the entrance to the lower underground facility the sentries dispatched, they made note of and passed along the information that a barracks was also above ground as well as a motor pool. "Scan for power sources" the Tau were notorious for employing mechanicals as guards. "Two units of four" Tactical 1 Alpha stated coldly. "Tacticals and Heavy, remove them. Assault take the barracks I will join you. as he landed, the other opened fire, the drones dropping in charred husks, the Commander and the assault team found human soldiers in the barracks.all dispatched before they could press an alarm button. "Grab security access cards and keys," they would use such to gain access to the underground facility.

They gained entry tot he facility. the floor plan showed a three way split hallway, Tactical 1 went left, Tactical 2 went right, the commander and the other two units headed down the center. shortly, the halls echoed with sound of human and tau screams mixed with gunfire as Tactical 1 had found the commissary full of staff, and the Tactical 2 found a occupied gym. They however found the Lab, scientists stared at them, bewildered, the guard drew his pistol, too late, in less time than it took to reach the commander snapped three rounds into his chest all forced his innards and spine against the wall, and left him an empty sack. the assault team also dispatched the science team as well. "First level cleared, floors and doors are thick, 2nd level will not have heard us coming." "This was the analysis lab." They headed for the lower level. Cameras had seen something, and so the security below had prepared make shift barricades fro folding tables and cabinets. The lead guard shouted "Whoever you are you are violating a governor sanctioned research facility and are trespassing on sovereign soil! Surrender immediately!" as he spoke the commander assessed the barricades. "Sheet steel, simple, 2-3mm thickness," All of the Null Knights fired their guns, what was left after a .50 second burst was smoking ruins of furniture and smouldering corpses. They scanned and cleared the floor which was a support area. Third level was the real labs, and the psykers all cringed in terror when they entered, the scientists and guards were at first confounded why the reading dropped and they all felt uneasy, then they were feeling the sensation of being chewed apart by a hail of fire. Guards, scientists, Psykers all executed quickly and dispassionately. It was on the fourth level that the psykers holding cells, more guards and some of the confusion caused some rather bad things to happen. some psykers panicked and had felt what was happening above them, they panicked and became portals. Daemons were coming out, and then as the Null Knights closed in guards dead, Psykers locked down, the warp entities also faltered, these prey things in armor were not right! Not prey! The Null Knights simply fired as one like a well oiled machine of death. Soon the place was finished, and the one with the Promethium salter began purging the place with blessed promethium flames.

On the surface once more, the lower facility awash ion flames, all psykers, humans and Tau dead, the surface also cleansed, The Commander looked to the town two kilometers away. "Full Ice Sanction authorized, secondary target contains a population of five hundred souls condemned for their tainted play here." and with that same cold demeanor, he kicked his thrust jets into action, as did they all.

When a supply truck arrived that morning, the driver stopped at the edge of town. the sight he saw was impossible. None of the humans or Tau he had grown used to talking with as he dropped off his supplies in town were alive, and each building had become charred lumber and stone. He dropped to his knees and gaped in shock at the carnage before him, he never heard the hum of the blade as it took his head off his neck. Later, the Null Knights stood on the cruiser before Inspector General Romanov and his entourage. None of them ever took the helmets off. He looked Romanov in the eyes and reported "Full Ice Level Sanction carried out, Casualties none, target eliminated 100% efficiency Inspector General Romanov." Romanov looked at the Commander's eye sensors, being as augmented and tall as he was, "Very good Commander, you and your unit may go and relax or whatever it is you do after a mission is completed." To which the Commander replied "Yes sir, very well sir." and off they all tromped, back to their special section of the cruiser.

Romanov faced his people, Father Orlov said, "Emperor's bones, I'm not sure what the creepiest thing is about them, that they seem to act so mechanically, or that soulless trait , or those voice emitters with the buzzing cold voice, can't tell if there is a man inside or just a machine." "Father, the only thing that matters for them is that they stay as they are and never given to emotions as then we may have real problems to deal with." and he turned and walked back to the quarters reserved for himself and his people.

er... whoa... now that was a cool...er...cold story... but we´ve been warned beforehand! i fear there is a subplot waiting to be told here... those null knights sure have a thing hidden under their armor and in their genes... i can fully understand the creepy feelings of old father orlov... it remembers me of that old saying of

Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.

which seems to me a fitting quote as ever be...

Well Vik, there may be something cooking in my head as we type! It will depend on whether or not our dear readers had enough, or are thirsty for more?

have you ever thought about the word thirst? for hunger is a word when it is filled... you are sated... but when it is about drink... you never get to a term that is equal to being sated...if that´s enough for an explanation for you

Hunger can be sated, yes. Thirst is more insistent, and never as sated as hunger is.

Hmmm, I wonder if I should go for more? what say the readers?

Soooo....wana be Space marines? Who also seems to be an atema to Psykers.
The huge list of problems this alone creates makes my head spin. I suppose your world is excepted from inquisitorial interference then.

You would need to read other back fluff floating around, while loyal to the Emperor, the khadrovians operate outside many such edicts due to how far away the "Pearl Strand " sector is, and also that they have their own "Inquisition" as it were who have worked with their own sect of Tech priests to work out how to make these soldiers, closer to a form of specialized anti-psyker skiitari in some respects. Khadrovians are wacknuts by Imperial standards, loyal wacknuts, but still wacknuts

Wait what? No Imperial world no mather how far flung it is expected from the gaze of the Inquisition! I dont expect much when reading these kind of things but for heavens sake attempt to keep it within th realms of established fluff at least.

Trondheim does have a point however poorly he put it. (No offence intended)
It's usual for FanFiction to obey various rules of the universe they are writing in. It wouldn't take all that much to correct it really. Mostly just name changes of organisations. The differences in the (For example) Adeptus Mechanicus of this part of the galaxy could be explained due to their distance from other Mechanicus authorities. Much the same with other organisations. The Inquisition might have decided it needs to have more local power due to the distance and has set up with the Mechnicus to ensure they can both retain a grip on the sector together.

There are many ways to make things work in 40k it's merely a matter of finding it out.

Other than that, it is written fairly simply but it does show promise. The idea is a fairly solid but it does need work.

Father Orlov said, "Emperor's bones, I'm not sure what the creepiest thing is about them, that they seem to act so mechanically, or that soulless trait , or those voice emitters with the buzzing cold voice, can't tell if there is a man inside or just a machine." "Father, the only thing that matters for them is that they stay as they are and never given to emotions as then we may have real problems to deal with." and he turned and walked back to the quarters reserved for himself and his people.

"Now wait there! just how under control are these abominations the S.C.H.M.E.R.Z. has made here? " Father Orlov demanded. Romanov turned to face him once they were in their own area. "They are well trained, and conditioned, they also do not have the usual needs for comforts, they are well produced from the "blunts" we have found, augmented by our friends in the Adeptus, they have taken advantage of some of the same special augments that helped make me and a few rare colleagues of mine" He replied standing in his power armor as it glinted gold in the harsh lights of the ship. "But you are a Inspector General, special accommodations were made for you to be able to do your job so well as you do." "Yes, but now take that, apply it to these men, and they are at best description, partway between a Space Marine and Skiitari, not quite one, yet more than the other, and unique, those thirty one men there are a major investment, they are but one team of maybe say, well a classified and very limited number due to their genetic make up. Their main mission is anything to do with warp based opponents, you know, witches, other psykers, and even daemons as we have seen." he said.

"So then how and why were they gathered and made?" Orlov demanded. They had made their way into the group special meeting room, Kommissar Zhvedvedova stood there, joined by her older sister Olga, and younger sister Katarina, Vasily stood with them as well as several veterans and Spetznats leaders, they all looked at the heated conversation. Inspector General Mikhail Romanov explained "When the Konfederacy was isolated, well before we made contact with the Imperium and began making feelers for working eventually together, we were unaware that the psykers would be needed elsewhere, the only way to deal with the powerful psykers on the loose was a special force immune to their powers.They also needed to be immune to other psychic touches, or the thugs that protected the psykers." the entire room was listening. "So, we knew we could not always call or contact the Dragons Errant for help in all things, so the idea was made to make these men a new force, we noted how some individuals made people uncomfortable, unlike the way a Psyker would, and even worse for psykers who came near them, and that they seemed to nullify the powers at certain ranges." he continued. With our friends of the Mechanicus, we conditioned the minds of these unique people, conducted genetic as well as surgical augmentation with a measure of the cybernetic augmentation including the suits that they wear." He saw they were listening. "now once the techniques worked, we had a small yet select force that answered to just the S.C.H.M.E.R.Z. and the Konfederacy and we also knew to keep them for missions where they could be used as clandestinely as possible, avoiding Imperial or Space Marine forces as they may not understand the sights they saw."

He cleared his throat. "The color of the armor they wear matches with their name and mission call, "Full Ice Sanction" which is they are used coldly, as the ice on Khadrova, and the sanction once deployed to use all means necessary to accomplish the mission and come back as we cannot replace them very easily." All looked at him, some blankly, slight confusion or scorn on their faces, all had dealt with the armored and unsettling warriors that had just wiped out a lab, base, and garrison and town to accomplish the mission. The room became tense when the distinct whir-clump of power assisted armor announced the arrival of the hulking Captain of the Full Ice Sanction team came into the room. He scanned the room of these vaunted heroes. He knew full well no one was to know of their existence, so all missions were recorded for the Intelligence divisions alone.

His suit speaker gave that odd voice, "Our data has been looked over, and is under full scrutiny, we have learned right off the inferences that they expect another shipment of Psykers for experimentation to arrive to further their goals." He paused. "However, the data indicates that they are using another laboratory in a city for this next set of experiments, and that they are planning on sharing their findings with other governors as a united force to set themselves up as an independent state in opposition to the Konfederacy and as well to declare their independence from the Imperium as they have been isolated for so long and do not feel they need to follow any rules but their own. The data is being combed for more information sir." Romanov nodded, "Excellent work Captain, it looks like we may have to do a strike mission of all of our teams for this one people." He let that sink in, Father Orlov could not tell, but he could swear that the Ice Captain shifted in a manner that said he was pleased at this prospect of making "normals" a little uncomfortable.

The Cruiser rendezvoused with the rest of the Khadrvoian Battle group. The group had slipped into the Janak system by coasting adjusting with simple thrusters as need be and maintained communications via tight beam laser links. The fleet command had let Romanov know that the Janak defense forces were mostly fighters stationed at orbital stations, so short ranged, the main "Ships" were a few monitors, some destroyers and frigates based also off old designs passed down through the Ad-Mechs who were assigned here many centuries ago, and how this sub sect could possibly help in a project no one aboard was sure. Agents however had reported the possibility of the existence of the project the governor was involving himself with and now he would reap very different benefits this night. It was decided that at roughly 20:00hrs Janak IV time to power shield/weapon/engines, Vasily and his team as well as the Mar5auders of Marko, Spetznats teams and the Full Ice Sanction would hit key targets. Full Ice was to go in and level the Psyker facility, The Spetznats were to disable Planetary Defense weapons, Vasily and Marko were to damage and blow up key power facilties The fleet would neutralize any Janakian defense vessels feeling feisty enough to try and fight, the 1024th Iron Guards would then land under fighter escort and orbital strike support. The Capitol and the Governor were key targets, and to cut the head off the snake was the approach to be used. The nearest Hive cities and PDF regiments were known to be over one thousand kilometers away, but fighter bombers and orbital strikes could neutralize the enemy and would.

The infiltration/demolition teams would be slipped in about 16:00hrs and go to work so that they had time to achieve objectives, and in case the Janak forces had already had Psyker support at the facilities, small fire teams were to escort the normal teams. "Are we taking some of those with us?" objected Father Orlov vociferously. Vasily merely cocked his head and replied "Father, just think of it as "special equipment" and not worry so much about them! " Which did not really settle the large priests' mind, none at all. The Father was with the Inspector General team so he would not need to deal with them as much as the others, the stoic Spetznats teams showed no signs of worry, Marko's men however were not as pleased about their "Special Babysitters" as they felt it was being under the cameras of the odd troops accompanying them in their lander. "How do you just accept this Vasily? these weird creatures, they creep me out like no Tyranid ever could." Vasily shrugged "You have to know the Inspector General, if he had any concerns about these big guys we'd not need them, but well, he seems to be more concerned about what the Janak IV bunch may have down there that has not yet been seen" Marko merely rolled his eyes, and headed for his team and transport.

==================================================================================================================================================================================

Below, the evening rush was in effect on Janak IV, the government hive was abuzz with the traffic as personal flivvers and mass transit trams alike sped their workers home, or sped the new shift to their jobs. The common citizen was readying for the planetary night life as the shops got their night signs activated and were ready for the evening business, shopping, dining, drinking that was normal at the evening, the Holofilm houses also made their atriums ready and clean for the patrons, and the other less wholesome forms of entertainment made their own preparations. Joy houses were scented with pheromonal perfumes, carnivoras prepared for the fights they would have ready both simple and bloody. The people of Janak IV had no idea what their government was up to behind closed doors.

In his meeting chambers sat the Governor's chief advisors, across from them sat the Tau emissary, Por' El U' Kray and his staff. at the third edge of the meeting table sat an unusual set of visitors, their impassive black eyes so different from the inquisitive and curious eyes of the Tau and the shifting conspiratorial eyes of the Humans. Their lithe elegant forms enrobed and their armor smooth, contoured. Farseer Sarain stood, facing Governor Jamael Quintonn Van Der Beek the VIII "My thanks for seeing to our request for the meeting Governor, Por' El, we care not what deals you are making between your two youthful races, but we are concerned that what we have forseen will make for trouble for our passage in nearby space outside of your system if you do go through with it." the words though foreign, flowed smoothly from his lips. The Tau remained silent, the Governor spoke, as a well fed man who did exercise, and trained to fight to defend his honor amongst his peers, the Governors' voice was rough, and deep. "I assure you that we have no idea as to what you are referring to, all we are doing is planning on a simple trade agreement to further our and the sept world's economic stability, and to honor each others' mutual defenses, how could that possible affect your craft-world light years away from here?" The Tau emissary chimed in with his soft voice "Indeed, nothing planned here is to have any other effect than our worlds dealing with each other respectfully and in peace."

The Farseer picked up his helm from the table. he sighs, "I can see that honesty is not part of the meeting here as I had hoped and reasoning with you will do not further good, all I will say since we seem to be playing the game of subterfuge and obfuscation, that the course you are on has several possible outcomes, and most of them will be bad for the sector, or just you, and we are worried about it being bad for us." he went on, "We know that you plan on playing with things beyond you collective ken, such will cause major problems, if the worst happens, we will have to deal with it. If the less extent, the Imperium will not allow you to keep it, or make deals with the Tau, nor allow your secession....." he allowed that to sink in, he had forseen the skein of the self appointed, and knew this human was planning on being his own king. "For then they will cleanse you, and then go after these others" indicating the Tau. "But most of all, any man that plays games with things that touch the warp may bring more than his own end about, and it would impact your planet, then the system."

The Governor stood up, "Just see here! you are a guest, do not presume to lecture me about what I can and cannot do! We have taken many precautions, and there is no way anyone else outside this room is aware of what we plan on, and what you think we are doing." At which point an aide whispered in the Governor's ear, the man sat abruptly, looked at the aide "Are you sure? the town too?" the aide nodded. He then looked at the Tau, then the Farseer. "Well Fareseer, you may go now, my colleagues and i have matters to discuss that are not for your ears." "Indeed, maybe some of the outcomes are starting already. Good day Governor, Ambassador." and smoothly, the Farseer and his guards left, as graceful as cats.

The Por' El asked the Governor what was wrong. "It seems someone did leak information my friend, the test facility and town of Pondureit has been wiped out, data tapped and erased, and the attackers left no hints of themselves other than some form of footprints but nothing discernible." He trembled at the thought. "The mind that could carry out such slaughter in so cold blooded a way is hard for me to fathom." He finished.

"Then perhaps it is time we secured the main facility here, and have some help guarding the place from any further such attacks?" Por' El U' Kray suggested. "If Fire warriors and your soldiers were insufficient, as well as drones, then perhaps we must use heavier defenses." he offered. The Governor liked that , "Yes, your heavy suit teams would be better guards than mere troops. We do this right, I will be King Jamael I and start a new era where we show our independence and our new friends come with us into the future!"

On the platform where the Eldar craft waited, "The greedy and the foolish have no idea that they are not going to enjoy this night." Sarain said. the door closed and the craft smoothly and quietly launched to head to their waiting cloaked ship, when they got there they boarded and made way out of system, unaware that the engine output had been noted, but they had been ignored as the corsair class craft sped out to the waiting Craft-world.

===============================================================================================================================================================================

The teams were all in landing craft that would not arouse suspicion, who would worry about simple light transports with logos for known products on them, in system craft had been quietly impounded by the fleet, their crews held and then used to deliver the soldiers planetside after being granted landing clearance. Once past the atmosphere, they went to make deliveries to the power facilities, the defense weapons, and the one facility hidden as a common place manufactorum. so it appeared as if food orders were arriving, parts, and chemicals to fulfill orders somebody had to have placed why else would such transports be landing there at such facilities?

The Strike!

The flitters landed at their appointed destinations on time. The standard security guards were surprised at t the defense laser towers by the actions of the Spetznats, highly trained stormtroopers who took down the guard who were shocked at what they first thought were Space Marines when they saw the Ice Sanction troops with them. The Spetznats teams hurried to their destination, the power controls for the lasers. When they encountered more security, they soon saw that they faced a mix of PDF and Tau Firewarriors, these were not so surprised at tower one where the mixed force opened fire at the commando elites. Tau pulse fire caught one Spetznats and wounded the man, his involuntary trigger fires his melta into a coolant conduit, rendering the area shrouded in a mist of air and coolant. The Spetznats weapons exchanged fire with the Pulse carbines and lasguns of the Janakian defenses, until the PDF called in a Psyker who fired eldritch bolts of warp lightning at the Spetznats in tower one. Thus they were pinned down until they could kill the enemy or help arrived.

Tower Two saw different action as the Spetznats went about sneaking about, planting charges on the power relays, alternating with sneak attacks and silently slitting PDF and Firewarrior throats alike as they went. They were stopped short when a team of psykers forced them back with horrific hallucinations.

Tower Three the Spetznats were firing as they went, all attempts at stealth were moot as the guards there were well aware of the presence of these soldiers in their midst, beams crossed, grenades flew, and the plasma discharge of the Spetznats fried soldiers and consoles alike, the team had decide on damage and carnage as their calling card.

Towers four and five went similar to tower one, where the enemy fired on the teams and pulled up Psykers to harass the Spetznats

Tower six is where the Spetznats had to work last. Team Six had gotten to the power relays without the security noting them. Either they were unprofessional, or they felt less a need to secure the area. The teams set their charges and were leaving when they were pinned down by the enemy security, a psyker started to use mental attacks on the men themselves rather than any warp like attack fire.

These delays by the psykers would have cost any other force to have failed the mission as they had towers that needed disabling for the main landing to work when the time came. But Inspector General Romanov had sent some insurance in the Ice Sanction fire teams. Psyker saw their lightning bolts fizzle to nothing as they came near the power armored blue warriors, who then promptly shot the Psykers or cut them down with the vibro blades of the close combat experts. Cutting through the defenses, all charges were planted and timers were set.

Markov and his men made for their target, the Missile silo and to deal with the launch doors power system as they very well could not launch if the doors were unable to open. They were nervous about having the power armored warriors at their back, but as they needed to be ready for Psykers, they would need them. Guarding the missile bays were a mix of PDF and Kroot who looked like they were disputing card playing. The Marauders were ready and Markov had "fastball" toss grenades, amazing how the man could pull the pins and toss three grenades as rapidly as "Fastball" could! Shouts of shock and horror both human and alien alike could be heard just before the explosives went off and the area was peppered with fragmentation shrapnel Markov had the dazed survivors dealt with by the three flamers carriers, "Scorch" and "Burn" fired their standard pattern flamers while the man named "Melt" gave a blast from the heavy flamer he carried into battle. They then moved to the next area with the enemy who were guarding the power system for the doors with drones, who still could be flamed. "Kroot and Tau! The Janakians have no idea how treacherous these xenos can be!" Markov spat, He was about to give the order to attack when he doubled over, clutching his head as the unnoticed psyker sent an attack to disorient him and render his leadership useless.

A heavy rifle shot from one of the Ice sanctioned cleared the psyker problem up. Markov and his team were able to deal with the drones and proceed from there, Markov a little shaken by the psychic attack, but happy the Ice Sanction had been sent.

====================================================================================================================================================================================

At the defense shield place went a team of dark camoed men, not quite Spetznats, but equal in training and equipment to the elite Khadrovian forces, these were the elites of the Kruegerian Hussars, these men made their way to disable the power grid for the shield generator for the hive. There were initially no guards worth worrying about as they silent dispatched most of those, butt the next set were worrisome. PDF Grenadiers guarded this facility and the fight would erupt into a messy one, but it had to happen. Unlike the Spetznats who were equipped heavy burn las rifles, the Kruegerian preferred their tri barrel R&H-91 assault rifles which still made a lot of noise as they fired, the leader aimed and killed with the bolt pistol he carried and the support man let loose with the man portable assault cannon. The fight went quickly though from fire fight to assault, wherein the heavy gunner bored a hole through the one enemy trooper and using him as a shield fired with his assault cannon sticking through the Janakian. Then in the midst of it all, he pulled that and let the corpse sink as he battered another Janakian soldier while his team stabbed, kicked, and punched their way through the enemy defenses. The Psykers guarding this facility were surprised in their quarters by the team of the Ice sanction as those five warriors caught and killed them coming from their lunchroom when they heard the gunfire. Now the teams had to hurry to set charges and get out fast.

====================================================================================================================================================================================

Of course, the last target was the area where the Janakians had the Psykers held. That was where Vasily and his men alongside the last group of Ice Sanction and Romanov's bunch were headed together, along with Teona and Father Orlov. Here they encountered the toughest defenders they could have run into for any of them. Tau Crisis and Broadside suits from the trade enclave of Janak IV from the Tau. Upon seeing that, Rat took the stick with the "ZZzzt" flag out of his Melta gun and primed the weapon, along with Ogre and Chef. The Ice sanction team with the Ice Captain was armed with the heavy lasers and missile launchers, Romanov's team got their weapons ready as did Teona Zhvedvedova and Father Orlov. The Heavy support team fired their missiles and Heavy beams into the broadsides, one falling as the weapons found their marks, the others stood as their drones sparked and fell burnt out by the overload, the crisis team was caught by the three meltas two of the first team falling as the landing force assaulted the heavy suits, Romanov and his acolytes fell upon another crisis team, Father Orlov with them, Teona with Vasily's team power weapons and eviscerator swinging as the men and women of the teams fought the heavy power suits of the aliens, the captain of the Ice Sanction hurled himself into the fray his vibro blade out and humming as it cut through armor. The heavy weapon troopers watched for any other interference. Soon the swirling melee was over, the aliens down and beaten, the Khadrovians a little battered and bruised, but ready for another run of fighting if need be.

They moved on reports were coming in on the secured comms of the other teams hitting similar delays. They moved through several massive doors along the way, the sense that something was very wrong struck most of them, if it did so to the power armored troops they did not comment on it. Even with their soulless auras, the power of the warp was showing very strong here; enough that it made the hairs on the normal folks' necks stand on end. They had found a lot of Psykers and Mutants, dead ones stacked like cordwood in alcoves, but the worst scene was the pinkish hued light that spun in the central chamber, surrounded by standing plinths where psykers and psychic mutants were strapped into, their energy visibly fueling the light. Standing at the huge pillar of light were Janakian officers, a Tau delegation, and a massively armored figure in Terminator armor, but this armor was wrong looking as it was growing horns, and twisted like flesh over the figure so massive. Other figures were coming out of the light pillar, twisted shapes bearing ancient weapons and eyes aglow with malefic energy.

It chaos time! Your story is building up to a cool part, but there a few typos in there. I suggest you read back through it to correct them, their simply wrong word in the wrong spot.

I am interested into what happens next, now that tau, and the local PDF have mingled with chaos.
