Here's Deamon Prince I've made for my friend - I think swamp base is good addition to Nurgle - what do you think and how you like the miniature??

I'm a huge fan of it! Clean brushwork and highlights, and the pustules are a nice, subtle way of keeping him from just being a green unmarked Prince.

I'd be remiss if I didn't ask/demand/beg for your recipe for that swamp murk. I've got some unpainted Plaguebearers to go through, and I'd love to use that.

Very nice on some parts but a few things I would suggest.

First is the inside of the mouth is the same color as the rest of the model. Would be nice to see a splash of color there like red or purple. Mainly on the tongue behind the teeth.

Second the teeth look a little too just white. I think a slight brown to white transition would be good.

Last the gold looks a little flat. If nothing else a little wash around the rivets to give them depth would help it pop. Perhaps some silver highlights on the edges as well.

Other than that everything else looks very nice, and I think that is a really different and interesting green tone you have there.

I think the paint job looks amazing but I don't think its Nurgle-y enough yet. Fantastic basing!

The skin tones look great, love the blisters/sores. The base is my favorite part of the model, just looks fantastic. I think you left the metallic areas to basic...a wash and some highlighting could really elevate the all around look of your daemon. Still great work though

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

The Dude - "Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man."

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

Looks really good, but to make it a bit more 'Nurgley' I'd wash the armour with Agrax Earthshade or Athonian Camoshade.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

I agree that it is too 'clean' on the whole, the teeth are too white and the gold needs to be dirtier. Overall just a heavier wash will do the job.

Nurgle is very hard to do on this model but you pulled off a damn good job, well done!

I like seeing Nurgle stuff that isn't exclusively spheres of bile. The color is nice and even and the base really sells it.
