Hi Dakka

Just finished my first Mark of the Wulfen model. Decided to go with a slightly different approach to them, for some reason when I think about someone with MotW I start thinking about hard core punk rockers.

I might end up putting some blood splatter on the weapons. but I figure if I do each of them with brightly coloured hair there will be no way to miss which model has the mark.

I've got a couple more to do, so will post pics of them up when they're finished. This is only my second finished Space Wolf in power armour so I'm still getting used to painting on the slightly smaller scale.

Cheers for looking guys!

The pink hair says "old school" to me...by which I mean it puts me in mind of Necromunda, or those really old bits of 40K artwork where the Marines looked like someone had rounded up a bunch of deranged thugs and stuck them in power armour. Eye-catching stuff!

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

I like the bubblegum pink. Good divergence from standard convention. That big empty banner on his chest makes me sad, though. A name would go great there!

True - a name. That's a good idea, now I just need to think of one

Second guy pretty much done. Blue hair this time

Got one more to go and should be able to knock it out today. Only question is, what colour hair for the last guy?

Green, purple or something else?

Last one finished up, so here's a group shot of the punks.

Will get on to the banner bearers next most likely. I'm liking painting smaller groups across packs instead of the whole pack at once. After the banners will probably be the special weapons dudes.

Fun times.

Thanks man, working on a Bran Redmaw at the moment. Little bit of conversion work and now I'm trying to work out what to do with his head. Will try to convert The Redmaw from a Daemon Prince.....see how it turns out.
