Thinking cellar/laboratory. I found a good hatchet so I'm thinking of having another base positively littered with instruments of cruelty...

the flagstones look good... I like some of the additions... but whjat is that hand/ foot doing there?...maybe just the angle that makes it look a bit weird^^

and is that a snake or a hose? ...

Squidder sounds interesting, but as with all my comics these days I'll wait for the eventual trade.

Cheers! Crawling hand, I'll try to get a better angle. They're one of the mini critters in Forbidden Alchemy. Some sort of tentacle, on the one 2 left to go, one's going to be flagstone and grate, the other boards and litter. I think once primed they'll be more obvious.

The bases are truly unique...I gather most of the stuff is from black cat design? The skull's from gw...but all in all a cool collection of scenic bases!

I know, they really are awful. Mix of black cat, gw, random. I'm hoping to get hold of some reaper and heroquest bits on Tuesday for variety.

Now, unfortunately, one of my witches has gone missing. I suspect a "friendly" 3 year old who came to visit otherpeopleshouldchecktheirkids but it's my fault really for leaving stuff in the grabbing reach of grubby mits, and it could've been much worse. Was supposed to make it to a Trek OP yesterday, but life got in the way, alas. However, the TO was a good friend (erithromycin) so he's going to reschedule it after a fashion - lots of folk cancelled on him, so he's going to rerun it in 3 weeks' time. More time to assemble my crushing Jem'Hadar hordes (i.e. get a J'H Cruiser for the new Dukat and Weyoun, and possibly even paint it)! Victory is Life!

Wow! These are some good-looking models! I really like your floorboard idea! The only thing I might add is that the grain on boards is generally most defined at the ends of the boards, so you can carve in a V-shape almost to get the best effect.

The lead witch in the coven could always be a bit taller than the other girls.....

And that is a nice mini, I don't think I've noticed it in the Hell Dorado range before....I think I need to grab one for my cultists. Or maybe it's just that I've not seen her in black and pink before

I think that female mini might be a bit larger compared to the cthulhu minis.... but her stance and the general appearance makes it convincing to have her a bit bigger...

Thanks man, really appreciate you swinging by and your comments! Good point about the grain (really should've looked at my own flooring), I'll incorporate that into the critter bases.

Actually, I measured her and she is 1mm shorter, but she is more imposing. I think she'll do nicely although mine will need stripped as they were painted not terribly well about 5 years ago.

So a little distracted, cos back into first full week at work, but the good news is that the missus found the missing witch (in the Postman Pat toys - well, he does have a black (and white) cat, I suppose).

Had a game of mansions on Tuesday, first time as players we've ever won (the game is ridiculously hard). Byakhees everywhere, everyone mutating like crazy - enormous fun and literally came down to the last turn.

On a less good note, the sale of my sisters has fallen through It's a mate, so I'm not too fussed in that sense (he's having a really tough time of it generally), but it does mean that they're back in the field for anyone interested in acquiring them...

I'm actually much more annoyed that the prospect of dungeon furniture has totally fallen through without explanation from the guy. Still, I'm consoling myself with the theory that this forces me to paint the investigators just now, and I can worry about the monsters anon.
