So I did these two models in two different styles.
I wanted a very old school look for the Eversor with blue highlights and a gloss over coat. I think it really helps a dark model stand out.
For the Vindicare,I wanted a really covert look, so I went with a really flat black and dark grey highlights.
Let me know what you think. Thanks

I'd recommend hitting the skull and the gun on the vindicare in a matte finish, so that it contrasts with the gloss pop of the bodyglove.

The shading on that skull is great! I agree with Oak, though. Personally, I like to gloss my minis, then matte coat them, then go back and gloss the areas which are supposed to be glossy a second time. (The first gloss coat is just for protection, since gloss is harder than matte.) It would really draw attention to the lens on the eversor's shoulder, as well as the synskin, if your intent is to have it all PVC-leather-'The Matrix'-y.

One suggestion would be to not use the old Assassin codex as the backdrop for your images, or if you do, offset your light source so you don't get that crazy reflection in to your camera

Otherwise they look good, I agree with the others on the matte/gloss thing. If you wanted to bring them to the next level, you could do the highlights with an extra stage inbetween and just use the highlight colour you have there as a sharp/fine edge highlight.
