Are there any FLGS's or communities that play 40k around in this area? Looking for games since one of my regular opponets moved and the other doesn't want to play much anymore.

Game parlor over in Chantilly plays on Tuesdays, if I remember correctly.

There's also the GW store in Fair Orks mall, as well as a GW in Springfield.

There's also place called Victory Comics over in Falls Church. Check those places and you could probably find a game at one of these places.

DC here, I'm actually looking for a game tonight if anyone's interested.

I'm also in the northern Virginia area and looking for games

We are a group of three (3) that play on a regular basis, all in our 30s (some married with families), looking at the possibility of expanding our gaming group. We would enjoy playing with people who have similar 40k interests and similar to us in age

1) We are pretty casual and all fairly new to 40k. (1-2 years)
2) We all play with forgeworld. We don't like putting restrictions on what people can play with. Its all in good fun.
3) The majority of our games are 1.5k and over. We often play at the 2.5k level. (Depends on how much time we have on the weekend)
4) We do a lot of 1v1v1, 2v1, and 2v2 scenarios so that everyone can play.
5) Often we come up with custom scenarios that are not in the "book".
6) We are currently gearing up for some APOC fun. Tables have already been purchased!
6) We enjoy a good beer.

Current armies we are using;
A) CSM / CD
B) NECRON / NIDS
C) IG / GK

If anyone is interested let me know. We can hash out some details to make sure your not serial killers

Looking for a place or people to play with Sundays and Mondays.

I belong to a small gaming group that plays regularly at the Hobby Works in Fair City Mall in Fairfax. We meet Tuesday and Friday for gaming, from store opening at 10:30am to 8pm when the store closes. Tuesday is the main day when most guys are available. Fridays can be rather variable. For a while it got to be a hotter day than Tuesday, but lately hardly anyone has been showing up on Friday. Armies that are present include Space Marines, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Imperial Guard as well as some new Tyranid and Necron players (not regular attendees yet though).

I'm in Court House, play Saturdays in East Falls Church at Compleat Strategist. There are lots of tables at Victory Comics near there too. Up to play any time.

GW at Fair oaks mall has alot of players, and we have almostevery army and skill level covered. You never know what to expect.

It's in Ashburn, and has a very large space for gaming. Half of the store is a room with tables and chairs for card games and board games, and the other half is the actual store and a bunch of 4x6 tables for wargaming (it has a LOT of them with a lot of terrain). I highly recommend it.

+1 for huzzah hobbies. With the exception of this month every 3rd sunday is a casual RTT. 3 rounds, lots of $$ for prizes, and lunch provided. Great place to meet locals that have all types of play styles ( WAAC to fluffy)

I play at Compleat Strategist in East Falls Church. Could play on the 17th. They have open Warhammer gaming most weekends, except this weekend.

I play at GW in Fair Oaks Mall, never usually have trouble finding some fairly nice people to play with.

I work at comics and gaming fairfax. We are trying to build a group. We currently are burried under magic players but we are hoping to double the size of the store.
