I would model flames on it with green stuff. Nice work with the skeleton torso.

Rihgu, you should definately get some Ghost Knights going on...this was a terminators and vamp counts skeletons kitbash and was great fun to do. For painting it I blended greys from black at the bottom of the model up to a light grey at the top, then drybrushed white generously at the top and steadily less so moving down the model. Then I washed it with Biel Tan green before drybrushing again with the white to pick out the edging.
For the sword, I would cut one from transparent plastic, give it a white wash (Or whatever ghostly colour you preferr, so it looks translucent, and attack to the hilt of a normal sword with the blade removed.

You're welcome! This has definitely inspired me to go ahead with Mordrak. Thanks for the guide! Next paycheck I know what I'm buying...
Wow. I hadn't actually considered making them skeletal. I always pictured them being this vaguely spectral suit of armor with its contents being somewhat ambiguous.
As to the halberd, I would recommend a flaming weapon of some variety. Warhammer Fantasy has some great flaming weapons, if I recall correctly, or you can always make your own flames out of greenstuff or Liquid Nailz.
G-g-g-ghost knights, Scoob!
That looks awesome. I've seen them painted in ghostly shades like that before, but the screaming skeleton rules. Reminds me of Major Tom's ghost from The Venture Bros:
"Each path must be chosen with care,
Lest disaster swallow us whole."
