Long story short, I'm bulking up my ork vehicles and I'm trying to add a predator, landraider, and some other things to my ork forces. I would like to have orks manning the cupolas (I think? The little turret thingies with the hatches and such.) but the issue is I don't really know how to convert the Space Marine cupolas into something that will hold an ork. (I don't even know how a cupola is put together normally! ) If anyone would be able to link me to a tutorial, or picture of a WIP, or just generally advise me, that would be delightful! Thanks!

Thank you very much for that Lanstus. That actually helps quite a bit.

Now all I really need is advice on to to convert some of these so that they hold orks instead!

well the base comes to fit space marines. i say cut up a sprue and get green stuff, and mold it around the torso of an orc and leave the legs off. then glue a rod and then the weapon to it.

chop an orc in half and build a low lying frame around him.

still new to everything just rolling with you idea bro.

You can just get the ork crew bits from the battlewagon kit. They aren't that much on ebay.

They do need a little bit of trimming to work in a SM hatch but it's still pretty easy. I used them for my looted wagons.

I had gotten them cheaper but this was the first link I found.
