A truck I built recently for the heck of it.

I know it looks a bit beat up for a Bad Moon trukk, but I wanted to do more rust stuff - and I like yellow!

Built from the standard Ork Trukk kit with styrene rod and plasticard extras.

Offside 3/4 with "new" rear wheel (the other one was blown off as some time)

Back end with scratchbuilt boarding ramp

c/u of business end with scratchbuilt Orky face and barbed wire - and the blood of someone not fast enough

[Thumb - trukk006.JPG]
scratch built bad moonz sign and big shoota

A couple of grots along for the ride

Offside boarding ramp down, scratchbuilt big exhausts

Scratchbuilt back ramp down with chain retainer and rolllers on the bottom for quick entry while barrelling toward the enemy at full WAAAGH! speed

Scratchbuilt exhausts, cab and radiator ornament (the gear lever!)

Wow that is a lot of work! Looks great, the more you look the more you see. The barbed wire on the ram is a great touch. Please post more as you have time.

Just forgot what I was going to say.

Nice.

Didn't notice the spiky-panzee head on the sign at first!

I like the chain, front grill, and exhausts. The dirty yellow is great too.

I love this trukk, but the 'mudflaps' need some color on 'em.

Personal favorite bit: the ork arm reaching out the window with a slugga. Totally awesome little detail that sells the whole model for me.

Thanks guys.
battlematt - Will post more Orkyness as I finish stuff.
TheSecretSquig -
Scott - panzee on a stick!
thesilverback - got some crazt idea to put some speakers and stuff on the next one!
Big Gob - I use Vallejo Saddle Brown as a base followed by increasing mixes of Saddle brown and Vermin Brown up to pure vermin brown. Then vermin brown and Vallejo Yellow mixes up to Yellow. Then Yellow and white. I did'nt use a washh on this coz i wanted it to look sunbleached
Da Butcha - Dang! I only saw that now! Will rectify tonight! Sleep deprevation is awesome... I used an arm coz i needed the driver for a jetbike/deffkopta thingy

Oh yes, speakers on the next one would definately add to the Badd Moonz look.
