Me again folks

Here are some pics (and the link) of my other colour scheme. My idea was it had to be striking, a bit like insect/reptile warning colours, but it also had to be really easy & quick to paint. It took me longer to come up with a chapter symbol! The animal helmets are from Puppetswar, and the "medieval" type helmet is from a Puppetswar bike.

A very contrastfull and striking color combination. The only thing that looks a little bit odd are the orange eyes on the black helmets.Maybe go with something a little bit darker. Maybe a red.

And with some more details picked out and hightights/shadowing they would look even better.

At some point in the future I intend to try Blue & Orange as instead of black, as it would give more scope for details on armour,weapons,kit,etc, (and trying to paint bright orange over black took forever) but at the moment I'm concentrating on my Cydonian Justice dudes. The next thing to finish will probably be my attack bike with dual Railguns.

I'm Back! Life kinda got in the way, but i've recently made some progress. This is a test of the new Steel Scorpions colour scheme.

The black version is way more awesome. It just need a bit shade and highlight. The blue version reminds me of schools uniform for some reason.

Try painting a layer of brown first. brown sticks to black, orange should stick to brown.
