Is that the Avatar's sword?

Unless you want to replace it with the Demon Prince weapon why not keep it as it. Say he took one from an Avatar after kicking its butt. I mean if that tool Calgar can punch an Avatar to death why not Counts-As-Abaddon?

Yeah it is I'm thinking of painting it a little rusty and saying he took it from a killed Avatar but its slowly degrading since he isn't an Avatar himself

I like it, however I don't know how I feel about the shoulder pad extension thing on his sword hand. Can you post a picture showing it? I think it bothers me because I just cant tell what it is. Otherwise very cool conversion.

the daemon arm killed this model for me. I was prepared to accept the dreadknight scale sword, as it actually looks pretty badass, but I feel like the daemon arm killed it. Past that, that is one sexy lord i wouldn't mind following myself.

Putting aside the crippling loss of his three-foot gravity-defying ponytail, there's too many smooth surfaces on his shoulder and legs. This guy is the most ruthless and feared chaos lord in existence, surely he could afford a little filigree work on his armor, maybe a spike or two. At least some of that wonderful upraised edging on the legs that makes chaos marines take twice as long to paint.

I think it may be the top knot that drains his power! I made a counts as Abaddon for my Iron Warriors, he has a MK III helm and he tears the table up.

I think it looks good over all. However, as was said, the daemon arm looks as if it doesn't fit. The chain hanging down from his shoulder pad looks out of place as well. I think he could do without both of those.

I like how the shoulderpad broke due to his fapping arm growing out of control. But yeah, maybe a normal LC won't take the attention from the rest of the model. I used the DP sword for mine if you are thinking on replacing it.

Abaddon should cut off his top-knot and grow a beard. Then he'll show them... Show them all!
