Try uploading it to the Dakka gallery and use the image tags to embed it in the post.

Turn your macro function on, or if you don't have one you need to move your camera back.

As far as I can tell a very nice model, and you're right...the picture is terrible.

haha background is in focus, model out of focus can't really say much about the model, it doesn't look bad at this point, but it's hard to judge

Yeah, it's practically impossible to comment based on that picture.

If your camera has a macro function, try turning that on (look for a little flower symbol).

If not, try taking the picture from a little further away, to give the camera a chance to focus on the mini instead of the background. You don't need the mini to take up the entire frame... blowing up to 30 times actual size just accentuates the flaws and makes an otherwise good paintjob look dodgy.
