So pretty simple stationary guns set up and blast away. 2x Blobs act as screen/speed bump, Psykers cast Weaken Resolve (Great for disposing of Necrons) and/or Pie Plates. Vendettas fly around killing things and drop off PCS end game, Lord Commisar joins an Arty squad amd gives out leadership bubble. So all C&C welcomed I would love for this list to be picked apart and I already realise that Tau will hurt with all the Ignores Cover they have a tougher list in the works with Dark Angel Allies but for now this is what I'm playing as there are no Tau player in group.

Drop the commissars from the IPs, the Lord Commissar, and the Comm Relay. (-160)

Take a Quad Gun on the ADL, and a CCS with a LasCannon and MoO. (+150)

The Company Comander's orders are going to help you more than the Lord Commissar.

If you really, really want the Vendettas turn 2, drop a few points (maybe the HBs on the Vendettas) and get an Astropath.

The Biggest Little City

Looks solid. A couple of things.... you may want to group the Sabres in 4x2 to cut down on kill points. Consider adding SW allies for cheap divination support. Prescience and perfect timing are beautiful things. Lastly... consider swapping an earth shaker battery for thud guns. You have to see it to believe it.... 8-12 barrage templates scattering off of one hit and before any casualties pulled is utterly ridiculous.

with 8 TL-Lascannons that have interceptor and skyfire the Quad gun would be a bit of a point sink. With so much in this army being Toughness 7 against ranged attacks I find the CCS get picked off quickly. The Lord Commisar can atleast be toughness 7 when attached to one of the artillary units.

As for the Thud Guns they could be an option I might have to look into them. I do like the S9 AP3 of the Earthshakers and with the Psykers I can put down 7 Pie plates a turn.

Why would you want to play this list? It seems like playing the game on easy mode without using the movement or assault phases would be woefully boring to play (or at least against).

If you really insist on this, then the only problem is the PBS. You'd be better served dropping them for more sabres/sabre crews, or marbo and some upgrades for that lord commissar.

Good luck finding people to play against this.

Is this because there are no re-spawning conscripts. I can drop the PBS for some if you want.
