Get it painted up though. It's a scientific fact that unpainted models die quicker than painted one's.

Excellent work dude, keep doing what you're doing.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Thanks for the comments! I have been working on a basing "system" and I found this technique I use by accident. I pin the base with annealed copper wire in position (I use superglue and drill them in, then then bend the wire with pliers after inserting it in the base drilled holes) then hang them overnight. Then I build up the base beneath the mini using cut op 1ml and 3ml oral syringes and sprues.

Hahaha, I do love that the Knight Commander is in the "Come at Me Bro" pose, I modelled mine using the helmeted Knight torso! (I think it's in my gallery) Paints looking good as well, I just feel like for some reason there is a lack of Red. There may be some on other spots on the model.

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

I've wiped a squad of terminators off of the board by double-tapping two squads worth of bolters into them, along with some plasma guns. It's a sexy and expensive armor save, but Stalin is correct in this case I'm afraid: "Quantity has a quality all its own"

The model is very very well painted, but highlights just how much I hate the chapter-specific models... [tongue in cheek] I mean, look, GW completely and utterly screwed up on the model making it a total waste of plastic: there are still smooth unblemished surfaces on the model that don't have giant chapter emblems on them, I mean, the vambraces, knee pads and the backside of the shield clearly need to be studded with dark angels iconography, you know, just in case someone wasn't sure what the model represented [/tongue in cheek]

As an aside, it seems it's not quite finished. there are some lensy glowy things on one of the towers sprouting from the back that might want some attention.

@poda_t , he is actually not quite done. I have not sprayed flat varnish on him. All of the squad will go through a "once over" one more time once they are all done.
