Hey All,
I've made this thread to judge interest in a Toronto-based Warhammer
40K campaign. It would be story-based as its a campaign not a competition, though that has yet to be written up as what comes first is seeing if there is enough people interested to make this viable. So please reply to this thread if you're interested and feel free to include any questions or comments. Chris from Legends Warehouse has said that Legends is willing to help out with this campaign by providing use of their gaming space as well as
possible custom scenery and/or
possible prizes.
Please include in your reply where in Toronto you are located AND where you can drive/travel to, what armies you would be using for this campaign, how many points you have for that army and what your availability is. (ex. could you play one game per week? one game per two weeks? multiple times per week?)
Please Note: In the past it has been noted as an issue that people have expressed high interest in campaign events but then turn out not to have the time for it. So, if at all possible, please ensure that if you are signing up for this you can set aside time each week for this. This DOES NOT have to be in the form of only games played, it can be for any of the below-listed point categories.
-------------------------------------------------------
Participation Categories
The campaign will be points-based with multiple categories contributing to an overall win or loss for a given faction/objective/etc. For example, some ideas for categories that may give points are:
- Objective or Kill based games
- Model Scratchbuild/Conversion/DIY projects
- Fluff / Story Objectives and/or Competitions
- Army/Model Painting Objectives and/or Competitions
- (In consideration)
40K Audiobooks or Books completed.
- (In Consideration)
40K-themed multiplayer video game matches. Ex. Warhammer Space Marine or the strategy
PC games.

(Optional) 40K Secret Santa
It's the almost summer and I speak of Santa?! Heresy you say! Nay! It's
40K Secret Santa, where you simply
include in your reply to this thread that you want to participate and you will receive in your
PM box your assigned secret santa recipient. You will be responsible for getting and delivering to them a (less than $10)
40K themed gift, preferably something you converted or scratchbuilt yourself. The deadline for this will be August 1 so you've got lots of time to think up something inexpensive and cool, and get it to them. We're all located in Toronto so delivery should be easy enough and people will be matched based on proximity.
