Maybe a little too dirty looking where the washes have pooled but on the whole I like it. Good to see a decent repose of the model.

I like the colour scheme, but i think you need to use a little less wash. Templars Crusade on YouTube did a riptide tutorial and has some good tips when it comes to washes.
Also mould lines and i think i have seen a bit of sprue stil on there. Take the time to clean up your models before painting, it makes a world of difference.

Overall tho its not bad well done

If you go over the washed bits in the original colour, leaving the wash in the recesses, then that'll tidy up nicely.

Shred City.

You rely on wash too much to create shadow and the gritty look. I know shades do a lot of the tough work for you and make detail pop, but you can't just wash and forget. After the wash, you need to layer. Layering can be done up as much as you require for the job. Drybrushing and highlighting are the last steps in my order of operations.

Your model has potential, but it's still incomplete in my opinion.

This Is Where the Fish Lives

It is a cool color scheme and the pose is stellar, but I will echo what some previous posters have said: there is an overuse of washes on the model and the mold lines/gaps should be cleaned up in future projects.

A few more things to add; the base is pretty well done, but under the upright building where all the debris is, you should have put down some sort of basing. Sand and various small rocks would look great, as one would assume that if a building was being toppled over and crushed, there would be plenty of small debris strewn all about. Look up pictures of demolished buildings as reference on what it would look like. Also, the Guardsman is a nice touch and if he is a permanent fixture (he should be!), he shouldn't be on a separate base. Take him off his base (aside from random black disc looking out of place, the static grass doesn't fit with the theme you have going) and incorporate him in to the rest of the base.

And some, I assume, are good people."

Love the idea behind the base.

Love the colour scheme and the execution!

Maybe next time, just try doing 'pin-washes' on a model this size, I think it would help immensely!

Nice glow effect and the guardsmen is nice touch. I think the symbols could be more Tau looking.
