Title says it all really: I've started painting up some Silver Skull space marines, would love some constrictive criticism (or compliments!) and i just cant decide on the bases. I'm thinking soe kind of scorched earth, or red planet?

I have to say, I rather like the entire scheme, save the wax for the purity seal - the green looks a little out of place, but it's probably just me. Regardless of my colour sensibilities, everything is executed nice enough to look great on table top. Keep at it, I'd love to see a fully painted squad of these guys!

Thanks! The green seal was just something i wanted to make it more unique, as were the green eyes. I like it as a spot colour.

Thanks for the basing article, I think i will go for some kind of Red look, like Mars.
