Please note that this is the first painting/modeling I have ever done. Constructive criticism will be appreciated.

So with that being said, I finally got my Infinity stuff and got around to assembling a few figs and decided to try painting. After messing around on a test figure whose pose I didn't like I decided to try and paint this one seriously. It's sitting there staring at me everyday as I assemble my other figures but I'm not quite sure how to "finish" it..aside from the glowing eye effect which I'm not confident enough to try yet. I did try the NMM effect but I didn't like how it came out so I threw a water down ink on it and liked the result. There are all a few areas that need touch ups I think.

But yea not sure what else it to do with it (3rd color, highlights etc.) Any ideas?

I am also wondering if the skin will look artificial enough. The model is supposed to be a robot/human.

It looks really good so far. For the skin maybe going for pale look, if you have games workshop paints you could use Rakarth Flesh as your base then build up with Pallid Wych Flesh and highlight it with white will give it some more depth right now it just looks like one base colour. A line highlight along some of the purple I think would make it stand out a lot more too. Other than that I think the shading you having done on the model looks really good looking forward to seeing more I like these Aleph miniatures.

¿Qué?

"Do you have a map of the cat?" - Richard Feynman

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

Thanks, I don't have any GW paints but I'll look into them (need to order a few colors for my JSA) . Also when you say line highlight, what do you mean by that? Would that mean taking a lighter shade of purple and painting along the edge of her skirt? Thanks again for the help.

Yep just take the purple you used mix with a bit of white and highlight around the edges. You could do this on the gun on the black parts with some grey too. For your first mini it looks pretty damn good though but with a few more touch ups you could get it looking even better

Awesome, when I finish up the gun I'll do that. Thanks again
