I've been working on a warband for our summer "Song of Blades and Heroes" campaign.
First two installments here:

and here:

To complete the warband I painted up a couple notable characters and a Dragon
You can see the whole article about these figures with more pics and in-game background for each character here:

Nice...about my painting standard. Lacks quite a bit in large photos, but looks just fine on the tabletop. Ive also been known to dip or use a heavy wash. Im not going for a trophy, I just want painted minis ready to play.

Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch
X wing
Open to other games too

Looks good, how many points is your warband? Out of Curiosity what stats and skill did you give your dragon?

That's pretty much what I go for. I think they look quite nice in person, but big pics are rarely very flattering. For a few years now I've been dipping nearly all my figures.

I haven't statted it all up yet , but a warband I used last week in a pre-campaign game with Chaos Champion, 3 Warriors, Barbarian Champion, 3 Barbarians, 2 Cav and a Shaman came out to 498 (I'll attach the warband roster as well), so the entire group of fig (pictured below) s is probably around 1000. I've painted more than the 500 points that we will use for the SBH portion of the campaign so we can run a few larger games using "WarEngine" and maybe even "Kings of War".

The Dragon will probably end up with excellent stats and Huge, possibly also with Tough and Flying, though there are many other flavorful special rules that could be applied. It's far more likely that I'll use him in a scenario as a neutral (or equally belligerent-to-all) 3rd party than as part of my warband.

That last one sure has a "classic" look to it. Must be the core group of warriors that border on quaint-but-still-lovable-looking.
