Grey Knights painted for the glory of the EMPRAH

Beware that the creator of this thread is a glorious Swede and therefor may make spelling mistakes and most probably will, but don't fear! You may call the grammar inquisition and have them solve it!

Here i'm painting and bam i come up with the fun idea that it would be fun to share my progress on my Paladin squad and maybe get some feedback on my technique seeing how i just picked up the hobby again just a couple of weeks ago after a standstill since i was a child and did the best to my abillity (Not to gakky i would like to think)
Anyway since iam almost already done with both my Justicar AND my psycannon toting GK i might aswell post the 99% completed work.

Althou dont despair i got a juicy Librarian conversion/painting to go even if i'm lacking allot of photos of the actual conversion work i will try to present it at the best of my abillity

I'll start with the Justicar thats basically done all the way upto the text missing on some scrolls/boks.

And then we got the Psycannon"ere"

Librarian Conversion work
Take note that this is a wik from yesterday and i came up with the idea of sharing it today so its not hour fresh photos but from yesterday up to about an hour ago!

Picture is not of my finecast resin librarian but borrowed from the infinite depths of the interwebs for references.

1: The typical "Space marine librarian" warding stave is gonna get swapped for a GK warding stave, The whole length of the stave not just the "head"
2: The dramatic i'mma throw you into warp space fool!/eyeball you to death with my powers face is gonna get swapped for a glorious GK patented metal bucket!
3: Hes gonna get a sweet ass heraldry badge he can show of to his battle brothers!
4: The once again typical terminator shoulder pad is gonna get switched for a GK golden light reflector pad so he can glare the deamon's back into the warp
5: last but not least we all know the grey knights are a fan of slicing deamons and xenos alike in half with two-handed weapons while still being able to blast them with fist sized rounds in the face while doing so. Therefore he will also be granted the wristblaster 2000

Here is where i get a bit slowed in the head and give it a base before the next picture, But you still see the changes and well its just that its not plastic clean!

The base have also been primed and drybrushed for starters when i had some time left over, The metal has been given a base layer to as you might see.

I Have come a long way on the librarian and i'm gonna start with the rest of the squad to when he is complete so i'm holding back on a couple photos of the progress so far.
I will post them and keep the thread updated if someone finds this interesting! Golf Kilo Out!

Thanks, I like my army to be unique and i love to paint so i spend allot of time on all the miniatures and especially this librarian deserve some conversions since
i wanted a GK librarian and not just some generic terminator librarian in a GK paintjob!

I'm sorry to say, but you need to file your thunderhammers smooth. It ruined the finish on an otherwise brilliant model.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

I know hey? I used to think I did so many good jobs on models, but then looking back, every single mould line, every single flash point, every single little divot just glared out unless it was incorporated as a weld line or battle damage. I've wasted about the same amount of time in the past year filing everything smooth, cutting and drilling everything to perfection as I have painting! now if only I could actually paint decently, not to this high-tabletop-quality which i find miserable...

His base is turning out quite nice i think, Gonna have to drill some of the larger tubes still and so on

And the model itself has gotten some work on him

I'm normally quite a maniac when it comes to details and i was considering taking the pic down and redoing it and put it back up but hey, I don't have time for that so i'm just gonna let it sit there for now.. (This is at least what i tell.. myself )

And in my defense i had not painted for some time and it was the first one to get built from my new pack so i was a bit excited and rushed a bit to much apparently But when i get the time i will most certainly go back and fix it don't you worry!

Looking very nice would you be able to share how you painted those

I most certainly can, Not now since i got about 40-60min sleep last night and i do work quite a... demanding job both physically and mentally and its almost 10 here in Sweden so figure i will get ahead on my sleeping for once! I can make you a shorter how i do my Grey Knights tomorrow after work thou!

Cheers!
