That's right, playahs! Its time for the 2013 July Painting Challenge!!! A month of videos and updates on the projects you've got sitting in your garage or on your desk that you just haven't had the motivation to paint. Follow my progress on:

http://www.youtube.com/warbosstae

I've decided to go along with my youtube channel that I'd also make this log. This is going to be the official place to post updates on your projects if, and only IF, you aren't able to post video responses on my youtube channel! A lot of you out there don't have smart phones or cameras to film video on, and I wanted to have a place for us, (a secondary fall-back position, if you will) to see each other's work and keep abreast of all the daily updates. SOOOO, before I get into the nitty gritty of what this space will be used for, let me go over once again the July Painting Challenge guidelines:

Step 1 - Choose an individual model/squad/battalion/battleforce/etc that you want to paint up throughout the month of July. Ideally, this should be models that you purchased but for some reason or other, never really got around to painting. Its easy to commit to painting something new and hyped up, but going back to tackle that box of plastic River Trolls, or squad of Long Fangs converted from Black Reach missile launcher guys is always a little more challenging.

Step 2 - Hold the models up to your face, as if they were looking you in the eye and say defiantly, "You ain't gon be grey plastic no more, PUNK! Come the end of July, you're gonna be painted up like a mofo, or my name isn't WarbossTae!" (NOTE: you should substitute your own name for WarbossTae, which is pending trademark and confers separate royalties and payments when used in any context related to gaming)

Step 3 - Make a video response of your model commitment to one of my July Project Intro videos. This is to get everyone else hyped up about your project and to give you lots of new subscribers from traffic on my channel

Step 4 - When July rolls around, I will be making daily entries about my personal project. All you have to do is model or paint as normal, and at the end of each day, film your progress. EVEN IF YOU DIDN"T DO ANYTHING! Film what you did or didn't do, and post it up as a video response to each of my daily videos.

Step 5 - Painting Gods willing, you WILL complete your July Painting Challenge with the rest of us!!!

Step 6 - Celebratory mugs of Bugman's XXX and much bragging rights forever more

Now that is the standard way to participate in the July Painting Challenge. Through my videos on YouTube. And you don't even need a good camera or editing software. If you have a smartphone with a video camera function and can download the youtube app, here's a terrifically easy way to keep up with the daily video posting:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiuM-iqDUVs&feature=c4-overview&list=UU_RXrVYPSEsJ8dL_JKCuQAA

If you DO NOT have a way of posting video responses, this project log will be open to post all your daily progress reports. Just throw up some photos and post up some daily updates to your work! Hope that's clear to you all! Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll see you all in July!!!

Here's a list of all participating members that I know of, based on video responses to my Intro and warm-up videos. Go and support them by watching their videos while you work!

Glory and Honor to you all, brothers!!!

TheWarhammerFatKids - http://www.youtube.com/user/TheWarhammerFatKids/videos
They'll be painting up some old school Tallarn Desert Raiders and Kroot, separately. Very excited to see this one! Gotta give some love to those OOP metal models and the backwoods cannibal birdmen of 40k!

Feralstryke - http://www.youtube.com/user/feralstryke/videos
A veteran of the WarbossTae month long challenge, I met this guy last year when he filmed a video a day, right along with me and another youtuber (xT27x, we miss you, braddah!!!) posted daily updates and made it the whole way through, from beginning to end. Much respect for my fellow mean green comrade as he tackles more orcs and goblins this year!

Epik Tymes - http://www.youtube.com/user/xT27x/videos
Speaking of T27, he's back! Yeah, my Hawaiian braddah from anaddah maddah! He's working on an AMAZING MacFarlane dragon minus wings converted into a Carnosaur. Really neat model, and I am super excited he's joined up. One of the coolest guys I know. "T27 is OOOOUUUUT!"

Archelonian - http://www.youtube.com/user/astrochelonian/videos
He's doing a fantastic range I've never heard of called Samurai Battles. It looks amazing and I can't wait to see what he does with them. Depending on how the month goes, I am tempted to pick up a set of this game for myself...but aren't we always tempted with shiny new stuff? lol

Justin Borges - http://www.youtube.com/user/justinborges/videos
Justin is tackling the Open Fire! set from Flames of War, a starter kit that is packed with Germans and Allies (British? American? Not sure, sorry!) troops in glorious plastic. Flames of War is such an underappreciated system in my local area. I wish him the best of luck! If you're a history buff or are into FoW, check this guy out!

KenLeonhardt - http://www.youtube.com/user/KenLeonhardt/videos
One of my most faithful and truest comrades, Ken and I met last year during the Project Night Lords, and has since gone on to youtube greatness. I wish him much more subscribers and glory as he paints up the High Elves in the Island of Blood boxed set!

Old Git - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv1U5zex5TEr2CHPMxheLsQ/videos
The ever venerable longbeard and emissary of the Old Ones will be attempting to do a Dwarf Organ Gun diorama. Celebratory mugs of Bugman's await his successful finish!

oodyswe - http://www.youtube.com/user/oodyswe/videos
A good friend and veteran of the WarbossTae Painting Challenge. Last year, he did some really cool looking Chaos Dwarfs from FW, this year he is doing a Flames of War project. I really love his work, and I know that you will, too!

Bluecloudandrew - http://www.youtube.com/user/Bluecloudandrew/videos
A good friend of mine that I met through YouTube, he's always provided helpful encouragement and motivation for almost as far back as I can remember. For the July project, he's jumping in with some Eldar Wraithguard! And, like me, he's an actor and into performing arts, which I totally dig!

Michael Morris - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh6AXWQrTZWHPP1vNZq0QUg/videos
Blood Angels! A very assault-heavy list, with some fantastic conversions (Dante, a Reclusiarch and Sanguinary Guards). Fantastic little army that should be a lot of fun to paint. The Ladyboss loves Blood Angels, she says she's going to enjoy watching this one.

Harry Chantry - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC96lveE2bSLowE9nGKqGElQ/videos
Children of the Stars, be painted! Eldar got much love in the new release, I am anticipating great things from this project, based on the awesome Avatar that he finished at the dawn of the project month.

Archon Hamster - http://www.youtube.com/user/ArchonHamster/videos
This project is shaping up to be another great one to follow. Eldar reinforcements for his Dark Eldar cabals, a very ambitious project to build and paint an entire Eldar battleforce sounds like a mighty undertaking!

MegaTimHo - http://www.youtube.com/user/MegaTimHo/videos
Oi! You lot! Dis 'ere is da biggest, and meanest, and greenest project uv dem all! An Ork Stompa! Gonna be built and painted by month's end, or dis git MegaTimHo will get me boot up 'iz backside! 'ere we go! 'ere we go! 'ere we go!

BaefullWolf - http://www.youtube.com/user/BaefullWolf/videos
A very cool project of about 20 marines and 8 DARK VENGEANCE COMPANY MASTERS!!! They're going to be gifts for family for a memorial project for a cousin who passed away earlier this year. A really touching project that I hope you'll all follow as closely as I will.

GiftofChaosStudio - http://www.youtube.com/user/GiftofChaosStudio/videos
A member of the WGC who's videos are fun and entertaining to watch will be tackling a unit of Bloodletters this month. Go support him!

gyspylovertime - http://www.youtube.com/user/gypsylovertime/videos
He's doing a month long project on his Necrons, and starting them off by filming them nice and close with his camera. Excited to see how he's going to paint them, check it out!

Uber!funK - http://www.youtube.com/user/UberQfunK/videos
A project on some Eldar, old and new (just LOOK at that box of OOP Guardians! LOOK AT IT!!!) I saw his Day 1 video buried in my Video Responses feed and just got around to checking it out so I have a lot of catching up to do, but it looks like he's got a lot of great progress in and that he's sticking to the project. Follow him on his road to completion!

Miniaturezoo - http://www.youtube.com/user/Miniaturezoo/videos
Another Necron commitment! This one is an entire Necron battleforce, from sprue to final paints, I am definitely looking forward to it!

OasisRising - http://www.youtube.com/user/oasisrising/videos
One of my favorite YouTube buddies, I met Oasis last year when she started filming video responses for my Project Night Lords. She's a terrific painter who really knows her High Elves. Check out her project as this month she tackles an all cavalry list (at least at the time of this writing! I've seen thumbnails of her recent project videos with some Bretonnian Bowmen in them!)

finnishWargamer97 - http://www.youtube.com/user/finnishWargamer97/videos
The Imperium is fueled by men, and men are in no short supply. Brave soldiers of the Imperium, bring light to the darkness with this project! A Cadian Battleforce, Chimera, and Valkyrie!

TheWalle0o - http://www.youtube.com/user/TheWalle0o/videos
Though a new youtuber, this guy's got an UNBELIEVABLE amount of awesome Tau figures waiting for paint, including a nice FW kit, and some rarely seen, long lamented Vespid Stingwings. Encourage him to keep posting as the Greater Good needs every soldier it can to be painted up gloriously for expansion of the Third Sphere!!!

monstermorrill - http://www.youtube.com/user/monstermorrill/videos
Word Bearers! How awesome is that? He's got a Daemon Prince and some Oblits, and its looking really good! I hope you guys swing by and encourage him to keep posting because the only videos on his channel so far are for the Challenge, I hope he continues to post long after the challenge is done. Check out his blog at http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/540773.page#5860570

DevilsPr0d1gy - http://www.youtube.com/user/DevilsPr0d1gy/videos
WAAAGH! Da Savage Orcs! They're big, they're mean, they're loud, and they don't have much clothes beyond their loincloths and bone necklaces, but these are some amazingly fun minis to build and paint. I love 'em!

Xenolithal - http://www.youtube.com/user/Xenolithal/videos
He's doing a project on painting up a Chaos Terminator Lord. Very smart guy, he magnetized the arms first, so he can use any loadout he wants. He also converted a cool looking daemon sword/power sword thing using a Warriors of Chaos piece. Check him out!

zhuala - http://www.youtube.com/user/zhuala/videos
A project on a very cool, and little known game (at least in my local area). The Jokers boxed set for the Eden skirmish game. I look forward to seeing how zhuala paints them up as the month goes on!

telebrause - http://www.youtube.com/user/telebrause/videos
Death Korps of Krieg!!! Need I say more? No! Go watch these videos and bask in the Forgeworld resin-ey goodness and thank me later! He even has the super awesome looking Infantry Squad at Ease kit, "Yeah, we're just chilling out before we have to go back into the trenches and get mowed down by the hundreds, no big deal"

spungemurphy - http://www.youtube.com/user/spungemurphy/videos
This youtube is another member of the Legion of Gamza youtube community and will be tackling the Island of Blood High Elves. He's already gotten started with the High Elf mage, but other than that he hopes to finish the whole thing in a month. Best of luck to him and I hope you check out his channel!

crusaderofaith - http://www.youtube.com/user/crusaderofaith/videos
A nice little space marine project. Support him by watching his videos and see his battle brothers to glory amongst their painted brethren!

familyofgamers777 - http://www.youtube.com/user/familyofgamers777/videos
Stormraven down! A little love and care for a Stormraven. A month of stripping and repainting. What a great project, I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes from what it is now, to what it will be by the end of the month. Cool little sound effects, as well!.

Dizzyfinger - http://www.youtube.com/user/Dizzyfinger/videos
So much rats! A horde of verminous ratmen ready to swarm out of their tunnels and overrun the Empire of Man in Warhammer Fantasy. Love the models, looking forward to seeing how he does them all up!

Wortiger - http://www.youtube.com/user/Wortiger/videos
Another very supportive subscriber of mine taking on the awesome Death Korps of Krieg. Great setup for filming and painting, and a fun youtuber to watch. Highly recommended!

xefaa - http://www.youtube.com/user/Xefaa/videos
A new youtuber whose had a channel but never posted any content until the Challenge. Let's get him motivated to continue putting up videos!!! He's going to spend the month stripping and repainting some Vampire Counts, one of the more popular armies in Warhammer Fantasy with a lot of great minis to work on!

Apple Squig - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxF_OnHZq1LSorJN3KDzZpQ/videos
Besides having an awesome name, he's doing an awesome Space Wolves project, building, painting or finishing painting models in his collection. For the Allfather!

The Raven's Maw - http://www.youtube.com/user/yarlzxmyrsh/videos
Project Arnor! Really excited to see some more Lord of the Rings figures in this project! Very dynamic looking models and I can't wait to see them all painted and ready for war!

GamerHeads1 - http://www.youtube.com/user/GamerHeads1/videos
Another veteran of the month long painting challenge, this young lad is a better painter at his age than I was, and very creative with his conversions. He is doing Vampire Counts, and it sounds like a great project to follow!

AncientNordicWarrior - http://www.youtube.com/user/AncientNordicWarrior/videos
This guy is going to be doing Cadian Shock Troopers FO' DA EMPRAH!!! He's a new poster on youtube, his first video for the challenge was his first upload ever (at least on this name) so go support him and encourage him to continue posting!

WarGamersSociety - http://www.youtube.com/user/WarGamersSociety/videos
The Angels Revenant are the Space Marine chapter featured in Imperial Armor 12 from ForgeWorld (you know, the Necron-ey one!) and they also appear in the Badab War. Things don't go so well for them, but I look forward to seeing them done up by WarGamersSociety before month's end!

OWiseOwl - http://www.youtube.com/user/OWiseOwl/videos
20 Plaguebearers sound like a fun group of gribblies to paint. Very effective in the game, and very entertaining models to work on!

Another new poster on youtube who will be doing the month long challenge on his Dwarfs! If you collect or play the Dawi, check it out and let him know what you think! Encourage him to keep posting videos! =D

Legion of One - http://www.youtube.com/user/Tookeywhy/videos
A shmorgasborg of awesome models, including Forge World Chaos Dwarfs, Vampire Counts, Lord of the Rings, and Chaos Daemons! At least he'll never get bored!

SnailMasterWargaming - http://www.youtube.com/user/SnailMasterWargaming/videos
He's painting up a Tau Riptide. What an awesome model, awesome rules, it just looks friggin' AWESOME! And I eagerly await his progress videos to see how he decides to paint it up. For the Greater Good!

DiceMiniaturePaintGuy - http://www.youtube.com/user/kimal79/videos
Beastmen! Centigors! Gors! Ungors! Creative unit fillers! This youtuber was so pumped for the challenge that he slogged through 6 hours of basecoating all at once, before the project even started!!! The Dark Gods must be pleased!

HouseOfGrudge - http://www.youtube.com/user/HouseOfGrudge/videos
With a name like that, how could he NOT do a project on Dwarfs!?! Lots of great figures in this one, including some of the older metal war machines that are harder to find nowadays. A keg of Bugman's upon completion for this ambitious young Dawi!

TheHoundmaster14 - http://www.youtube.com/user/TheHoundmaster14/videos
SO COOL! We rarely see a dedicated army painted as a successor chapter to one of the more popular original founding chapters. This guy is doing a project on the little known Guardians of the Covenant Dark Angels successor, and they look awesome!

kickorybot - http://www.youtube.com/user/kickorybot/videos
A mostly non-miniature related channel, but one of my more frequent viewers and posters in recent months. Warriors of Chaos video is the most recent, and I hope to see them painted up by the end of the month!

CurtisAlfield - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LYaVlmqizw
Curtis is going to do a project on the Dark Angels in the starter kit, Dark Vengeance. Such a great variety of paint jobs on a fantastic variety of models (infantry/terminators/characters/bikes) that can be achieved, I wish him the best of luck!

Ringo Simpkins - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvGR7Sy5TPiBnt_lkjXUmJA/videos
Another Flames of War project! mmmmm all the tanks and armored goodness make this channel a terrific one to follow. And morning musings are a huge bonus if you need something to listen to while painting your own figures! Check him out!

Faron Adams - http://www.youtube.com/user/Adamslee72/videos
Another loyal subscriber of mine who is going to tackle the High Elves in the Island of Blood starter kit. Looks like its going to be a fun one, this is a painter whose skills as an artist are very much a strength of his keeping the color schemes realistic when its so easy for others (like me!) to get too cartoony at times!

WatchCommanerVan - http://www.youtube.com/user/WatchCommanderVan/videos
A project on Super Dungeon Explorer! Its going to be a fun one, SDE has some of the coolest, anime-inspired models I've ever seen. Best of luck painting the pieces for this entertaining and exciting game!

666Lupine666 - http://www.youtube.com/user/666lupine666/videos
Sculpting, from scratch, some bird riders. A very cool, off the beaten path project that I can't wait to see develop as the month goes on! Seriously! He's making freakin' CHOCOBOS!!! From scratch!

CheesNinjaTabletop - http://www.youtube.com/user/cheeseninjatabletop/videos
Men of the Empire! I'm actually surprised that there isn't more Empire being represented in the July Challenge, but Jeff here is making up for it with his epic contribution. Go support him! Sigmar would approve!

wackyrodders316 - http://www.youtube.com/user/wackyrodders316/videos
Another new youtuber posting his first vids. Go support him and encourage him to continue. He's got a box of Devastators he's going to be working on, as well as the Dark Vengeance biker sergeant. Also, check out his first painted mini!

dantecommander - http://www.youtube.com/user/dantecommander/videos
Dark Vengeance set, another painter tackling the Dark Angels. Go and support his channel. Awesome music, I remember hearing it in a movie a few years ago called Mr. Nobody. HE ALSO BUILDS ROBOTS AS A SIDE HOBBY!!! Best of luck!

Hey Mr WBTae and everyone else reading this,

I wanted to throw an idea out there, not sure if anyone is going to be interested in it but I have seen/ hear of people organizing a "social" painting night. Basically you use Skype or Vent or Google + hangout to set up a place where everyone can jump on a voice chat channel and actually talk while painting/ whatever.

Not sure if it would help or hurt productivity but it would be a good way to get everyone to know each other.

Just wanted to see if anyone else is interested or not in something like this, I was thinking like once or twice in July.

Hey that's a great question, MegaTimHo! I hadn't thought about that but it sounds like it could be a lot of fun for people who are able to chat online and can get others onboard. If you guys want to organize something, via Skype or Google+, I think it'd be pretty rad! Alas, time zone difference might be a determining factor, but I think it could still be a lot of fun to try!

...although it would mean that I'd need to find another mask to wear to keep my secret identity secret!!!

Thanks for jumping in, unmercifulconker and Inquisitor_Mike! I look forward to seeing your updates here!

AS THE MIDNIGHT BELL TOLLS, LET IT BE KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE GALAXY:

The WarbossTae 2013 July Painting Challenge is on, like Donkey Kong, son!

Best of luck to all participating members! I will shortly post up a list here with links to the channels of all participating in it, but in the meantime, here is my progress for July 1:

I reattached four metal models to their bases ("Stand up straight, Uncle Vanya! Stop drinking so much vodka before deployment!") and I glued basing material and primed all of my Sergeants and Command Squad, ready for painting. Finally, I painted up a test model of the Sergeant. Tomorrow, I plan to batch paint as much as I can of the other Sergeants! Daily Question: What is one of my non-hobby related interests/hobbies? Theatre! I have been involved with acting and theatre since I was a wee lad and am currently a director and actor in my local theatre scene =D

Now show us your progress! On YouTube, or here on Dakka!

This is my first time participating in something like this, and it came at a perfect time. I am getting ready to participate in my first Steamroller Tournament on the 20th of this month and I would like to step my hobby game up and have my two 35pt lists painted, so I can finally play some games with fully painted armies. The lists have some overlapping models so that will make it slightly easier to get done. Here are my two lists with links to pictures. (I am not sure how to get in-post pictures to work any help would be appreciated, thanks)

And for the Question of the Day
1. What is one of your non-miniature related interests/hobbies?
Another one of my hobbies is I brew my own beer. It is a lot of fun trying out different recipes to see what you get, and that first taste of a new batch is always an awesome moment finding out if you did everything right and made a good beer

Nice! Best of luck getting your guys ready for the tournament!! Brewing your own beer sounds AWESOME!!! I can imagine that moment of the first taste of a new batch being one of the most rewarding. Really cool! See you for tomorrow's update!

Couldnt get the painting started today, green paints still need to arrive which should be tomorrow and it was raining nearly all day so the chances to prime the models was very early and very late in the day.

Still this my small group which ill be painting over the month, apologies for such a small contribution compared to others in this. If I finish them all with time to spare I may do more. I will also try and set up a light box for the progress shots as these pictures are not great quality.

Here is the group of the boys, the semi-painted minature needs re-doing as I couldnt make my mind up with the colour scheme; now sticking with half red/green.

A few of my DIY chapter The Emperors Beasts (need a better name )

My converted Templar Chaplain

The big lad himself, the thunder of Khorne

First painting starts tomorrow.

edit: Damn does anyone know how to make the pics bigger? I just uploaded them to Dakka but they have come out small here. I am a noob at posting images.

edit: Haha got it working now.

Keep it going, guys! You're all doing great!

Here's my Day 2 progress, beginning to assembly line my Sergeants, I show you an example of one of the unfinished ones, and the one I was able to get all the way through its basecoats before washes:

And my Day 2 question of the day, is:

The first mini I ever painted was a goblin from the 3rd edition boxed set, as would be any model first painted by a twelve year old, it was pretty ugly haha!

I was unfortunately thwarted by rain today and couldn't get any of my models primed. I will be back at it again tomorrow, in an attempt to get painting done this weekend, though I have a four day weekend so the outlook is good that I will be able to make some progress and hopefully hit my goal to have some of the units done before next week. I am trying to check out as many of the video's as I can, at least this will give me an opportunity to make it through some extra video's tonight

Now to the Question of the Day
2. What was the first miniature you painted? Extra points for showing it!
The first model I painted was my pKaya model. Here are some links to a picture of her and her with the battle group I started with in a Journeyman's league last October

Ah! Hope the weather clears up for ya! Better luck tomorrow! Four day weekend sounds like a winner! I know what you mean, I'm behind in watching everyone's videos as well!

Your Kaya model looks a thousand times better than the first goblin model I ever painted. Extra WarbossTae points for you, because you posted pics of her for us all to see! Well done, my friend!

Hey Warboss!!! I tried to do a video response, but the Chaos gods inside wanted me to keep silent and hidden from video. Plus, I just couldn't do it. There goes my acting career. Anyways I will be posting pics of my W.I.P. for Julys monthly project. And as you can see the winner is Festus. It was a tough choice between Festus and a Demon Prince, but he prevailed.
So far I have cleaned the mold lines from the model and will be giving him a bath before priming. I may have some pics of that, but I am sure this is a family friendly forum. No need to have pics of somebody taking a bath

Just about...bar the purity seals and a quick highlight with the red! =D

Damn, those eyes are hard to paint!

Daily Question - How old were you when you started in the miniatures hobby?
I was about 12. Some friends and I were into the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying Game and decided to pick up the 3rd edition boxed set. I took the goblins and they took the HIgh Elves.

Ok, hey hey
I've decided that since I have sworn undying fealty to DakkaDakka, i'll post my progress on the thread.
Since I last posted yesterday I have built and based 20 guardsmen, 2 heavy weapon teams and a sentinel
Below are some pictures, one poor quality of the whole shabam that I plan to finish as much as possible for the end of july (I doubt it will be accomplished especially considering there are ~10 more guardsmen en route in the mail.) but I'd like to use this blog to motivate me to get a whole bunch done because I haven't really done a whole bunch in a while.
So for those of you who've seen my Urban Regiment blog, this is what i'm workin' on!
Here are some snaps

Oh and PS obviously some models are complete already

Just in case anyone missed it, theHoundmaster14 has gave everyone use of his Vent server to use for hang outs. So if anyone wants to go on to see if anyone else is there to chat feel free. See a link to his video below:

Also I am going to say we should all try to get together this coming Thursday night if you have time.

Hope to see you there!

I have decided against painting up Mr Draigo to undertake a much larger project, being without a job this month gives me more time than I'm used to. I will be building and painting a blood angel army. This includes 20 assault trips, Mephiston, custom dante, reclusiarch, 2 custom sanguinary priests, 1 land raider possibly with custom freehand work in the sides, and one think body that I am going to be adding razorback and baal pred turrets to when I get the bits next month. I well be uploading my first video to YouTube either tonight or tomorrow covering this week's trials. Where I live there is no cell service or internet access so I have to upload when I am in town.

No YouTube update today. I did however manage to get 2 models done, the sanguinary priests primed white and inked, and started on my scout squads, which will be tactical marines without backpacks or shoulder pads. This first combat squad should be painted by the end of the week. I have two interviews tomorrow and next week so I may be lacking on updates. Look me up on YouTube and like and subscribe please. I'll be adding battle reports soon too once i manage to get a game or two in. Michael Morris on YouTube!

Well, not THAT great, just some basecoats, slogging through all of that before the fun stuff (shading and highlighting). And believe me, watching everyone's videos on the project is getting me through it haha, so keep posting!!! =D

Keep up the great work, everybody! To everyone who is taking part, I thank you for your hard work and dedication, and if you have made a video but have fallen by the wayside, I encourage you to check back in with your progress. Even if you are not going a video a day like some of the hard core guys (you know who you are!), you are all still part of the project. Let's finish this month long Challenge out together!!!

Oath of Moment time!

"Heavy Weapons teams will receive their basecoats by the end of the week. On this matter, and on my trusty paintbrush, I swear this Oath!"

Here's my progress up to this point: all infantry basecoated and waiting for washes and final highlights and details like purity seals, drybrushing on the hats, etc. Sentinel finished and waiting for transfers and basework. July Painting Challenge plowing away full speed ahead! Choo Choo!!!
