COOL ARMY MAN. I love gold and silver colours and you got lots of it. I really dig it. No painting advice except maybe throw a wash over some of it. Check the was colours, i think there is 1 or 2 good for metal colours. Would love to see a bling vehicle.

I like the overall army! Great look. Very in-your-face. As far as painting advice?
Over large areas gold (or any metallic) tends to get a bit pasty.
Non-metallic metallic is another option, which simulates the light reflection of a metallic surface using a variety of blending and shading. It can look good, according to general community consensus, but I personally despise it and think that 90% of the time it looks terrible. Since it uses fixed lighting effects, it also only looks good when viewed from a single angle.
I personally utilize the following technique (which I call semi-metallic metallic): Use a brown or yellow color (it varies depending on the shade of metal you want) and then drybrush a cheap (as in, Walmart art paint) acrylic paint over the top. Experiment first to get the right base color. (You can even use it on silver if you like.) Almost all the metallics on the Salamanders in my gallery use this technique, which gives a very subtle metallic sheen with no clumping or streaking.
Washes can be added to taste in order to provide shading and definition as needed.
Anyway, I hope this helps.

The metallics look a little flat, tho it's a bit hard to tell with the pics. My method:
-base coat w/metallic
-wash, I use sepia for yellow metals, black for white metals
-layer some of the metallic back on
-high light
For highlighting, I mix silver and gold about 1:1 for gold, for other yellow metals, silver and the other yellow metal at about 1:1. For white metals, I generally start with a base coat that's darker than the final metal color. For silver, I would base coat Chainmail, wash, layer Chainmail, layer/highlight with silver. For a more steel type metal, I start with BG Metal and work up to Chainmail.

Haha well goldmember, it's pretty unique. I like it, if it was mine really the only thing I would do is hit it with some wash, give it a little worn look to hide the pastyness of gold on large areas. Looks totally good tho and I hope you post some more, maybe some blinged out commandoz lol.
