Ever since I first got into wargaming I wanted to play WHFB and field a DOW army. So about fourteen years later I'm slowly getting around to it.
Hopefully when I'm done, I should have one regiment of besiegers, leopard company, alcatani fellowship, marksmen, venators and republican guard.
Still looking for some of the more exotic units on ebay, but they may be out of my price range.
First set of pictures will be of my Riccos Republican Guard models. I only have five done so far, let me know what you think. Thanks!

Better late than never I say!
I like them, I didn't even know about those models but I they look pretty good! It's rare to see guys in such heavy armor carrying spears. Nice colors too.
My only big complaint is their skin. It looks so... yellow. Is it a fluff thing?

Thanks, yeah for the skin I'm trying to go for a tanned look, a lot of the DOW regiments are from Tilea in the south.

I would think tanned skin would be something like a darker skin instead of yellow, but as long as you are happy, it's cool.
I want to see some more of those DoW! Keep up the good work!

I've always liked the Dogs of War. It'll be good to see a full army of them.
Digging the bronze armor as well, though I agree a bit with TheDraconicLord. Have you hit the faces with a wash, out of curiosity? I'd give the sepia one a shot, maybe, and see how it turns out.

The first Regiment is Complete!!!!!!!! 'Ragged' Ricco and his Republican Guard are ready to be hired and eager to fight.
I was pleased in the simple and quick paint scheme I used on these guys. It only took about two days to finish the regiment.
Let me know what you think. Oh also their are some extra pictures of the army special characters and my lansknecht style swordsman.

Ok, I freaking love that Republican Guard. I'm this close to try to find some for myself just for painting purposes but I promised myself not to buy MOAR minis while I don't get most of mine painted. They look beautiful
You have lots of interesting minis in that army too. Are those special characters or some kind of elite unit for the Dogs of War army?

The three man squad at the right of the picture is an old unit from the bretonnian army. Guy on the right is Bertrand le Brigand, center is Hugo le Petit, and the right is Gui le Gros. pretty much a french version of robin hood.
