It looks great, but I say give it a wash to make the highlights blend more naturally, and make that metal looks a bit more rustic. It's just too clean for my taste.

I agree. But be sure to re coat the bright colours, or they'll look too dirty

The pink and... Zebra print.... Are 2-dimensional. They need more shadow to them. I also find the gold on the foot garish and out of place, though that's an invalid complaint, since they are supposed to be garish like that. The biggest issue is: the model still isn't..... Wellllllll..... Fabulous. I see it, and it's just a pink marine. A test model can't get the whole effect unless you have all the features. Fur tokens, jangly things, bling, rings, gemstones, feather hats, fedoras, capes, leopard print codpieces.... I am exaggerating here, but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying.

I think the main issue I see here is the lack of lighting effect, when you have that bright pink on the ankle cuff coming out from under the greave, that bright without shading, the model looks unfinished everywhere there is purple.

But, your taste is kind of irrelevant. I agree that the metal is too bright, but the effect strikes me as correct since thesis a marine dedicated to slaanesh. If anything, it might be demanding some spots of highlight with a silver.

Also:
If you are adding white to your pink to brighten it, instead, try a creamy off-white. I got the tip for doing bright yellow(iPad decided that I did not want to write yellow, but elbow....... I hate this satanmacine) and they came out better looking, not sure if it will work the same way for pink, but worth a try to see if the resulting color gets you the texture you want, as adding white can have the effect of making things look clinical/sterile.

Closer pics would also help. This is certainly at least tabletop quality, but I'd like to see them a bit closer

Ok are latest photos. Base done, pink highlighted with 30-70 pink and white, also other details such us bolter and metal parts and golden trims done.
@poda_t: i get you mate and that is why i ask for comments. i wanted to give them a different paint scheme than emperor's children book theme, and cause i would mix them
with my night lords and probably have them in my NLs rhinos i wanted a theme a bit close.
That is why i chose midlnight blue instead of black. Also dont forget when you mention all the features such us bling rings etc that this is a simple marine and i dont want him to stand out
more than the unit champ or the blastmaster guy or even a lord.

I think I have what he's missing... This one's iffy. How would you feel about glossing the whole model armour down, and putting some matte varnish on the zebra/leopard print?

If glossing anything at all, I'd suggest the other way around. Glossing down the glammy bit.

That sounds catchy too. Glossing down the glammy bit.

Actually I have reprinted him as I painted a second today using different technique.
I will photo both, and for the first one I ll repaint the face, and find something to do with zebra pad.
Actually you will see that the final will be different from the ones you judge.
But still need to do something with the pad. The other one I almost finished today has a leopard pad.
Btw cheers for your comments I really appreciate it. If you have some time follow the link bellow and take a look at
My other work. It will be updated soon with more finished units/models.
Cheers!
