First model I've ever painted in my life. Flash over exposed it a bit, much darker than the image lets on.
Only used my Gray auto primer, Mephiston Red, Sotek Green, and a Nuln oil wash.

looks to be solid work, and for a first model damn good
one thing you might want to look into practicing is some highlights and/or shading on the red so it has more...depth....i guess is the word i'm looking for, cause right now the red is pushing the model into robot action figure land

Very good 1st model.
Second on the shading. Also the grey is looking like bare plastic (maybe is your flash)

Not really keen on the colour scheme of red/grey to be honest red/ white would look better, but looks like you did a pretty neat job on the red. Dont be shy with the wash apply quite alot for shading then practice some highlights. Good 1st attempt I find it hard to paint red.

Nice first model! Only suggestion would be to add highlights to the red/grey.

Highlights and try to get some black wash into the panel spaces to break up the red

Looks like a good start, I'm not sure if its the camera flash but looks like the paint needs to be a bit more "solid" (unless its my poor eyesight I can see a bit of black undercoat?). Then you could add some more wash to get the shading and then some highlights!
So really just echoing what everyone is saying!

Couple of highlights on the red would make it otherwise a briliant first effort and very good use of a limited pallet.

Looking crisp! I wish my first layers would have been this smooth
But I do however have to agree with the fellows above me, you need to add some highlights and shading.
Throw a was over it and then paint it in a bright red up to an orange around the edges and spots that would be hit by light and you should be doing mighty fine!
