I'm trying some more advanced (for me) techniques with layers of paint and highlighing. Would love some C&C on these models/paint scheme.

Very nice looking blue and black and purple gemstones even. Not a fan at all of the purple faces and eyes, does not go well with the rest.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.

Hard to tell with the photos, figs are a bit small to see, but the purple faces do clash a bit with the overall blue, maybe something in the orange/red range to shake it up and create more electricity in the final?

If you click on the pictures, they're much larger/easier to see.
The helm/facemask is what I'm struggling most with in this paint scheme.

Don't mind the purple face plates actually, but you need a colour for the lenses that pops a bit more (I have fallen into this trap before!). Even if you did the lenses the same blue as the armour, that would make them stand out more.

Fin's right (as usual when it comes to Eldar) the lenses need just a little more oomph! I'd second either the same blue as the armor with a bright highlight in the centre or even a pale yellow but nothing too strong. overall they look really nice so far you've done an excellent job!

Just to make sure, lens = eyes? I was hoping the pink eyes would pop more, but they do kind of blend with the purple. I'll try the blue/teal or a white-blue next time.
Thanks for all the feed back so far guys.

I think white with a cool green for the eyes and gem stones would work best. You already have two primary colors. White compliments both colors and small amounts of dark green with highlights would complete the image without looking goofy. Admittingly the eyes appear to be the hardest part to mesh but green is complementary without being too out of place. Purple is just too garish and doesnt look right in the eyes. Red would work for the gems, but clash badly when put in the eyes and you would have too many colors.

actually, the blue, purple, red combo is harmonious, not complimentary, which is part of the problem, they're all blending into each other and making each other softer. Complimentary would be using yellows and oranges to bounce off the blue and purple.
Green would also be harmonious - it'd blend into the blue. Might be okay for the lenses if it was a nice light/bright green.
