Here is one of my latest works. A Black Templar Champion. Emperor's Champion variant. The figure was done on commission, which fell through at the last minute. So to Ebay he goes.
First mini in a while now.

Not bad. The white lining on the cape is maybe a little chunky, and I would prefer a different colour on the helmet lenses to make the head stand out a little more, but it's a clean job, and I like the darker red with the Templar scheme.

I agree with insaniak on the cape. It may just be the picture because the rest of the white is looking excellent. I also think the helmet could have used something to break it up as well as the armour.
He is a templar after all! I'd have done litanies in various places on the armour as well as the scroll work to create some more interest!

It's slightly ironic that although he is a Templar, the first thing I thought, having seen the red and white tabard, was Knights Hospitaller!
On the subject of the model - it's pretty epic. I agree with the others about the helmet lenses and the slightly chunky cape lining, but aside from those minor niggles it's really a superb job. Well done, keep it up!

It's decent work mate.
I would suggest taking payment up front in future, or at the very least a 50% deposit to protect you against this sort of thing.
Keep up the good work, and good luck on ebay man.

Thanks guys. I think the cape looks a bit off. The freehand is not up to par from what I have done in the past.
As for comissions, I do take 50% up front, which includes the price of the model, if I am responsible for purchasing it. This system has worked for a long time for me, but it is not uncommon for "back-outs" Especially when 50% is only around 5-10 dollars. The downfall is the accumulation I end up with of "Custom" miniatures that I need to strip, but never find the time.
