At 600 points, Celestine doesn't need any support. Heck at 1850-2000, she doesn't need much.

I was thinking that, she has a 2+/4++ Jump Infantry with 3 wounds, she may be toughness 3 but I reckon she could hold her own, the only thing I worry about is double toughness, but I don't think there is much you can do, she's still nails for 115 points

Plus she gets back up. Basically, any shooting at her is largely wasted.

At 600 points, there's not a lot to work with. Assuming you require an HQ and two troops, you've got about what you can get.

Ok thanks, The only differences that could be made would be to change around the HQ, Rhino's or no, or Exorcist/Retributors that's all I guess

Celestine is the best you can get at this points level.

Rhinos help you get where you are going and Exo is exo.

I'm guessing you're playing on 4x4 boards? In that case you could sacrifice a little mobility for more toys. Also, at 600pts things can really get unbalanced so flexibility is huge. Here's what I'm thinking:

HQ
St Celestine [115 pts]

Troops
Battle Sisters - 10 Women, 2x Melta (or Melta, Multi-Melta), VSS w/ Combi-Flamer [155pts]
Battle Sisters - 10 Women, 2x Melta (or Melta, Multi-Melta), VSS w/ Combi-Flamer [155pts]

Heavy
Retributors - 5 Women, 4x Heavy Bolter [85 pts]
Retributors - 5 Women, 4x Heavy Bolter [85 pts]

Total [595 pts]

Your BSSs have twin Melta in case someone gets cute and tries to overload you with vehicles, and combi-flamers in case they need extra anti-infantry or a little oomph in Overwatch. The Retributors are harder to "one shot" than an Exorcist and give you a firebase that is effective against any target (except maybe AV13+).

The only problem with this is that the national finals of the tournaments I will be in are on 6x4, I'd worry that the troops would end up being pretty useless

6x4 is a little silly for 600 pts, but I don't think you'll be stuck out too much.

Assuming y'all are using standard missions, then in every objective mission you'll have at least one (if not two) objectives in your DZ. So one of those troops is babysitting the objective. If it's Big Guns you've got the Rets to hold the backfield objective while your troops move up to the midfield. And Celestine is an objective denying fool.

Another thing to think about is that these troops choices represent over 50% of your army. If you had more points you could afford to stick them in boxes, but you're so committed at this point that any turn they're not shooting their bolters is a waste of half your army.

Do you have time to play any test games? You should be able to try 3 or 4 different configurations in a single evening if you've got a willing opponent.

I'll be able to play test and see how the troops go, I'm just worried about footslogging 12" weapons on T3 Dudes really

You might want to try melta/multi-melta in your troops then. You can keep the Heavy still while you move the rest of your unit for an extra 6" of range. It's worked pretty well for me in the past.

There's only one right now and that's the WD codex. Another key hint is that St C is 115.

Yeah, I might try and use Multi-Meltas

I've actually gotten super cheap recently and fielded some squads that just have a multi-melta.

Granted this is inside of repressors or the bastion topper, but still.

It would be good to have one squad with meltas or melta / multi-melta, just in case you have some tough dudes like a wraithlord or knight. I don't think at 600 pt you will see a land raider, but maybe...
