I'm currently painting Tau in the Bork'an colour scheme (basically light grey with turquoise sept markings, bases are snow).

I'm after some suggestions for colour schemes for the Kroot and Vespids. (I know no-one plays Vespids, but they came in an eBay bundle and I want to strip them and paint them up.)

Any suggestions welcome.

P.S. First post on Dakka!

I'm doing my kroot various shades of blue. I have seen rust coloured models, and the steriotypical green.

Mottled light greys or whites could work for your Kroot (going for a snow owl sort of look) given their pseudo bird like ancestry.

Drawing from other similar arctic/antarctic animals might help, such as an arctic fox, seals, reindeer, penguins or puffins (black and white with some yellow blended in), or other similar creatures. They'd give you some good palette ideas for the Kroot at least.

For your vespid tying in the turquoise somehow might look good and keep them different than the Kroot.
